Actually if you ordered before Aug 5th or whatever it was you were guranteed Launch Day delivery so I believe my "rant" is very valid as I ordered well before that.Most places wasn't even taking preorders in February(Walmart definitely wasn't).

Was it a prank his friends pulled on him while he was sleeping and he's trying to grow it back?

overcompensating for rrod I assume . Also why they were able to bump the clock so early with the cpu (both are 2.0 ghz cpus downclocked for reliability from what I read. Xbox is willing to take the risk and push it up because they are super confident their cooling system works very very well I would assume)

I went straight from the Sony store and then downstairs to the MS store in the same mall and saw them one right after the other and the XB1 wasn't that much bigger than the PS4. The PS4 was much wider than I expected both times I saw it at Con and at the store. Maybe I'm tripping but this size difference looks ridiculous.

Edit: Scratch that, looking at it again, the last shot does look accurate.
 
So someone has a PS4 since more than 12 hours now and we still didn't get any good new videos or even screens.

Come on, can't be so hard!

So I contacted them to see if it was just a placement date still which it wasn't. They replied back today stating that they were looking into the cause of the delay but that it should arrive on 11/21/13. So I am thinking they are trying to straighten it out so I message back that if it couldn't be delivered on the 15th on launch day which was the whole reason for preorder I would like to cancel, at which point Walmart promptly canceled my preorder(obviously without trying to fixing the problem first) So now I am stuck with no Launch Day system that I have been obsessed with since E3 and with nowhere left to preorder. Only option I have is waiting in lines for the slim chance to get an extra from somewhere besides walmart. If the rumors are true that it may be hard to find a system before christmas I may be SOL until next year............... Will upload pics of the email correspondence as soon as I get a sec...

I preordered from Wal-Mart a couple of months ago with the layaway plan and I hope I'm safe. I paid it all off last month, so I would think I'm in the clear. Looks like I'll just wait a little longer up there on Thursday.
 
Gah, I don't think I'll last the gameplay and reviews and everything from when it's released in America to when it's released in Australia...

He owns a PS4, that's what this is about. Might as well get over it.
 
Frankly, it's kind of obvious why the guy is waiting till tomorrow to show it...

It's the PS4 Review Event tomorrow. It's highly likely all embargo related to the actual product hardware lifts tomorrow, and reviewers can officially 'review' the stuff, and show it to the world.

Timing is just too perfect.

According to Jim Sterling the press won't receive their consoles until after the event is over.

With the amount of PS4's in storage and shipping centers around the world right now, footage of this can appear literally any any moment now.

People's grubby hands can't possibly resist not just hooking one up and playing. We just need one guy with a youtube channel that's thirsty for hits.

You deserve what you got. Too impatient to wait a week more to fulfil a pre-order? No sympathy at all. You still would have gotten it earlier than every other continent.

Thats a bit harsh dude, I see what your saying but id be pissed if I pre-ordered in time to get the 29Th November release to find out I would recieve until December 12th or something.

They shouldnt have canceled his order until they confirmed again as he was under the impression they would try and fix it.(altho could have interpreted it that way)

Call them back and try and straighten it out.

why would they need to confirm again?

he very clearly said he would like to cancel his preorder if they could not make launch day
