I'm going to do the exact same thing. I signed up for My Choice Premium with a free promotional code (good thru Feb 2014) so I can have it held at my UPS center and pick it up at 8am. I will be there early.

That sucks but I guess glad I'm not the only one. Really hope they change soon and although I'm sure it will come on the 15th I just want that satisfaction that everyone else has : (

I say we all drive to Hebron and harass Amazon to just hand them over. I'll even buy the would-be driver a beer for his troubles.

Do you need that "My Choice Premium" service to schedule a pickup? If so, is that promotional code valid for new accounts?

I live in Phoenix and mine was shipped from Nevada. What is Amazon doing? Purposely sending them a state over so it takes longer? Baffling.

Just got done talking to Amazon. They confirmed my order will still ship to be delivered on the 15th, but I now have to pay for 1 day shipping and it will ship tomorrow. Now my order status has changed to Preparing for Shipment. Greatness Awaits!!!

No, but I do think it costs $5 for non premium my choice members. It's free for premium members. To your second question, yes the promo code I used worked on a new account, and when it reduced the 39.99 price to 0.00 it didn't even require a credit card #. Google around, the code I used was found on slickdeals or fatwallet, I can't remember.

Haha let's roll, I know someone there right now so he can point us in the right direction. Amazon is super efficient, I wouldn't worry if you have a local hub. So many times they shipped me games on Monday that cross the river and then back to nearly where it started for tuesday release.
 
Mine's been "Shipping Soon" all day. Still says Friday delivery, though.

Woop... Never mind, I just checked again and now it's Shipped.. lol. "Left Amazon Facility and is in transit", going from Tennessee to Texas.

It's $5 to have it dropped off at a UPS Store but free to be held at a UPS Customer Center. I've had multiple shipments held at my CC for free.
 
Do i have to plug the tracking number into ups my choice? Or does it automatically show up in the account when amazon generates a tracking number?

Also can i pay the small fee when I get to the store to pick it up?
 
Anybody with a UPS tracking number that can tell me how much their package weighs?

Mine's still "not yet shipped" for dallas. It'll probably ship tomorrow or you know..maybe never. Get on it Amazon. I'm so excited and envious of all of you that have had your consoles shipped. Hype!
 
I ordered the launch day system on June 10th, or whatever the first day was. There still hasn't been a single change on my information. Not shipping soon, not anything.
