This only is true if your specific SATA controller supports it AND if you are booting into RAID or it is specifically enabled in the AHCI firmware.

All SATA II requires it even if the controller itself doesn't have eSATA support (which is highly unlikely in this scenario).

Yes, he started downloading DCUO again and it shut off on him.
