Mine hasn't updated since last night at around 8:30. Said its shipped, from Kentucky. I'm in St. Louis, so I'm guessing its going to be delivered to my local facility for delivery tomorrow. But who knows, I know my Paperwhite was delivered a day early and it left the same location in Kentucky.

I've seen this happen with release day game orders a few times. I think what is being revealed is that Amazon doesn't really pay overnight prices to UPS so the initial process shows the standard ground delivery time.

I believe this. UPS used to show that my orders were always two-day air on their website, but lately (since summer) everything been shipped UPS ground with early delivery.

They refunded me the shipping cost lol I wasn't asking for that, and it doesn't make sense since...shipping was free. Wut.
