They just announced release date for Kirby 3DS so that would be Jan 2014 so it's safe to say that we could see the announcement of Metaknight or King DeDeDe by then.

Due to No reveal of Pokemon Character for Pokemon XY so the prediction might be wrong or so.
November - Zelda or Ganondorf (more likely to be Zelda)
Early December - Newcomers (Direct)
Late December - Ice Climbers hopefully
Jan - King DeDeDe or Metaknight
Feb - Diddy Kong.

After recent Link Between Worlds information, I'm hoping for proper Ganon i.e. Blue Pig Mode.
Sounds like a pretty good prediction list. I think you might be onto something about Ice Climbers in December as well, didn't think of that! My biggest question is whether or not we actually get Zelda for ALBW's international release date considering it doesn't launch in Japan until late December.

That's true but we got Luigi announcement with Mario and Luigi Dream Team link few days before North American release date, so it's possible that they could go with international release date. Basically it will be wait and see situation for us next week.
I hope that they would keep good pace with the flow of pictures and informations. Ever since last week, they did excellent job with it. I always have been pleased with image but they just stepped up with image lately.
Yeah it was unexpected. :/ Pretty nice list, I hope most of it will become reality. I'm pretty certain that on November 22 we'll have a Zelda+3DS Stage reveal.
Doubt there will be much difference in final stage count. The 3DS ver might be delayed, but whether or not that's true I think it's pretty obvious why the PR is focusing mainly on Wii U.
It's the "lead" SKU and Wii U needs all the attention it can get.

Yeah, it's disconcerning that we didn't get other Pokemon character reveal like Pokemon Trainer or Jigglypuff. I wonder if they haven't start working on those characters or struggling with Pokemon Company and GameFreak. I recalled that Sakurai mentioning that it was hard to work with them over Pokemon contents for Smash.
Hopefully, it don't meant anything bad for Smash-Pokemon contents.

Oh dear god YES! It's better than I could have ever hoped.
I expect changes on both of them. A fairy treatment to Jigglypuff and a new team for PKMN Trainer(and he really needs a makeover). The Xerneas tease was proof that they're going to reveal stuff.

Sonic's was removed at roughly the same time interval--I wouldn't read too much into it. It might be now that it just remains for a week by default.

Oh man, can't wait to hear the music for this stage, and hoping they have more than one galaxy song for it.
I'm guessing that the kill lines on the edge of the stage rotate with the planetoid.

I'm glad they picked that place as a stage. It's one of the most memorable parts of Galaxy for me. It won't fit battling, but this music needs to be in the game:

So happy they finally revealed the Galaxy stage. Probably gonna play on this one a lot when I get the game. Wanna hear what music(s) they will choose for it.
Also wondering where the observatory will show up. I mean, if the Mario Spaceship made an appearance, it gotta be in there somehow, be it on this stage or another one !

Somebody did mention it just nowAnd people were hoping for a Galaxy stage reveal when that shot popped up, but I think many just wrote it off as part of the nighttime phase for Battlefield.
Most people thought it was teasing a Galaxy stage from what I saw.
I never saw Galaxy in it, since the shading didn't look much like Galaxy's lighting.
I thought it was a Wind Waker stage

One thing that I really want to see in stages is that they would being selective with stages that would come from All-Stars materials rather than recently console games. Lucky for us that we had remake of OOT, so we managed to got one.

It would be nice if they would go with old games' locations since Smash represent the History of Nintendo.
Also I would like to see more stages that would come from unrepresentative stages if they didn't manage to get playable characters in.
Duck Hunt - Duck Hunt Pond
Advance Wars - They should go with some kind of heavy warzone battlefield with a lot of stage hazards middle of city or village. We would have few distractions like fogs that would cover the stage so it would be fun and pain in ass to find where we were middle of the fog.
Golden Sun - Venus Lighthouse
Xenoblade - there are many area that we could choose from, so I will leave it to Sakurai to decide which location is better for us
Also we should have few retro stages from 64, Melee and Brawl. I'm rooting for Hyrule Castle and PokeFloat to coming back for Wii U/3DS.
Random: It would be nice if we get Pokemon Snap stage where we would fighting on a huge yellow platform that would be carried by Zero-One. It would carrying the platform and fighters throught few regions where we would see Pokemon in their Habitats. Few pokemon would attack or cause special status toward to the fighters out of blue as if they would guard their own home environment.
