NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

Told UPS to hold it at the customer center, but that was either to difficult for them to comprehend, or they're just too lazy because they ignored that and stuck it on the truck for delivery. *sigh*

I'm so fucking pissed. Customer center says they have no idea where the package is. Neither Amazon or UPS will give me a straight answer on where it's at. I don't even have an origin scan on the UPS tracking site. I have no idea what to do. I'm supposed to pick up the package in 5 days, and have no clue when its going to arrive. So much for taking today off to enjoy the PS4 all day. Ugh. I have no clue what to do. I should have never called to have the package held.

Calling to set up a will-call isn't the issue.

Many people jump the gun and set up a will-call way way too early. One must wait until origin scan or initial departure registers with the tracking number.

No need to call them before they even have the package in their hands.

That's what I'm figuring happened. I've never called to have a package held with UPS before, but I guess I learned my lesson. If I end up getting it late, that's fine. But neither Amazon or UPS can tell me where it's at.

That happened to me too. Luckily I just got in contact with UPS and gave my old apartment's leasing office a head-sup. They said they'd sign for the package and all I gotta' do is drive out 20 minutes to pick it up this afternoon.
 
Someone reassure me that UPS packages sometimes get delivered without updating tracking to "out for delivery". Arrival scan yesterday, says scheduled for delivery today, still listed as "in transit".
 
Tally up to four. People who are here for regular business are pissed.

Going to take the car for servicing and passed by a procession of FedEx vans heading out for delivery. I imagine that most are carrying highly anticipated objects around the city.

Edit: FedEx guy brought my manager's PS4. UPS guy still not here.

I ordered something from ups that got delivered yesterday. It never went to "out for delivery" went from "destination scan" to "delivered".
 
My PS4 is Out For Delivery with UPS, and an unexpected surprise, my lost FedEx Smartpost package with Battlefield 4 and Knack just scanned in to the post office, hopefully for delivery today with my mail!

So stoked!

They said it was because of the inconvenience caused. When you call yourself "Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company" yet you jerk your customers around about getting them shipping information in a reasonable time frame then lie to them about solving a matter a $30 credit is the very, very least they could do.

I did the same, I pass it on the way home anyway. I'm pretty sure it was my mistake so, just took it in stride.
 
I called UPS just to see if they could confirm it was out for delivery. They couldn't provide me with any extra info. I asked if it was too late to do a pickup, she said it'd be the 18th.

"Nooooo, don't touch that, thanks anyway."

Alright. I am nervous because one time it showed Destination Scan and they just updated at 8PM they "tried to deliver it but no one was at home" which was bull because I was waiting for the package :P
 
Just had mine delivered. I literally watched the UPS guy take my PS4 to the neighbors house then realize his mistake and brought it to my door. I swear if it would of left it there.....-_- But anyway mine is delivered.
 
Is FedEx just bad at updating tracking history? The last one I have is shipment information sent to FEDEX, but it also says estimated delivery Friday 15th and it was sent priority overnight.
 
UPS My Choice sent me an email this morning saying it should arrive between 10:45 and 2:45! Yay! No we wait

Mine shipped out of Richmond and I'm down by the oceanfront. VA Amazon is weird.

I checked with amazon. My PS4 never even left their shipping center. All of the tracking numbers they issued were invalid, at least 600. I totally thought it was UPS's fault too. It's bullshit because I could have easily purchase a PS4 from walmart last night without issue, but they strung me along with an invalid tracking number. The tracking number updated all along the route also, but these were "logical" scans instead of physical scans.

What a fuck up. They gave me $10. Yay?
