You guys are all getting your delivery times from DPD. Mine hasn't updated since it was in Birmingham last night at 23:23. Kinda pissed off i wont be getting it anytime soon
You wont get a update until the driver scans the package so im told.
Lazy fucker is probably in the back drinking tea.
Don't worry, These things don't always update immediately. Mine said it was still in the sorting facility near me and the next time it updated it was already delivered. It totally skipped the whole "out for delivery" Status.

DPD say my delivery will be between 10.22 - 11.22.
This morning was seriously insane. I've never seen anything like it. My regular store was getting five systems for launch and I was pretty sure I'd be able to get one because clearly nobody could be as crazy as me and get up at the asscrack of dawn & go out into a snowstorm to wait for a game console. I was so wrong. There must've been 30 people in line and the second they opened the gate they STORMED in and snagged all the systems. I was left with nothing. I then went home and started calling around to other big stores and electronics retailers - everybody was completely sold out or backordered to january.
As a last resort I drove to a pretty big electronics retailer that's a bit further from the city center and unsurprisingly there must've been 15 people in line there too. By the time they finally opened the doors there must've been well over 30 people. I ended up waiting for about 20 minutes and when they finally opened the doors, everybody rushed in like it was the end of the world. All I remember is getting shoved like crazy and then standing in a line for a while. However I ended up getting a system, even though it was more expensive than I would've liked.
I've never seen consumer animosity like this. So goddamn intense.

LOL 6 hours away when he's only 30 minutes down the A45.
Mine are usually ok. Expecting my guy to arrive about 12 ish like he did yesterday.
That reminds me, yesterday in preperation I was dusting off the cabinet for my PS4, the missus can never find out because I'm usually pretty reluctant to cleaning...

Same as mine, but mine is in Enfield. No signs so far of it leaving the DPD depot. Temptation is strong because Enfield is only a 15 minute drive from me.

Got home, ordererd on amazon and here it is on launch day.
Friend was out there in the cold tonight but no shop in my area had stock for walk ins.
Only some even had the tendency to put up a sign or to communicate that.
From the store he was at, people rushed in and grabbed PS3's before realizing and then dropped and left them on the floor to look for the PS4 (there was no PS4 ._.)

Well GAF just woke up to find my delivery has been delayed until fucking Monday :/ I'm bloody pissed off I took today off to be here for it and now I have to take yet another day off to be in again :/ I rang them but of course they gave me the mainland BS excuse they even said my console was currently in amtrim but they couldn't arrange a delivery today.

If you're package is coming via DPD, you should have an email from them this morning. It has a link in it to 'follow my parcel now'. That takes you to the map. If you don't have an email, maybe it's in your spam folder?

Well I won't be joining you guys today and have to wait till tomorrow, but it's certainly not turned out as bad as it could have so thanks to the Gaffer that posted about JL having stock. As much as Amazon have pissed me off regarding my order at least I managed to get BF4/Marvel Lego and Knack cheap from their US digital store lol
