Gutted. Far as I can tell my system works fine, my controller however is DOA. Boot up as normal but when it asks me to push the PS button nothing happens. The Controller lights up when connected, but thats it. Tried pressing the reset button, nothing. Anything im missing?

Did you already sync the controller? Plug it into the PS4 with the usb cord. Sounds like you simply haven't connected the controller to the console yet.

Yeah, that's how Monster Cable and other "scammers" can still be in business in these digital cable times.

At the PS3 launch, some monster cable guy tried to sell me a hugely expensive HDMI cable. When I told him to go scam someone else, he just smiled and did just that. oh well.

Yessss, www.komplett.se in Sweden delivered and I just picked up my PS4 from the post office. I tried to not look like a smug bastard as I walked out with the PS4 box under my arm.

Everything works great now. It tuns out my HDMI splitter was causing the problem. Receiver and panny tv accepted the 1080p signal perfectly fine.

Wow, Killzone shadowfall looks amazing!! But it allready looked like a big leap in 720p and 1080i. 1080p is gloooorious.
System is really fast and works perfectly.

Thats the weirdest thing. It is connected via USB. The lights even turn on. but when I press the PS button, nothing happens. reset it a bunch of times, nothing.

put the console in safe mode, same thing.

the ports work ok and so do the cables because I connected my phone to test.

ok, now it gets even weirder. Connected the controller to the PS3, works like a charm (except PS button :- but doesnt work on the PS3 anyway right?)

Mine is here and it's beatiful! Made in China though I'm trying to download the update for 30 minutes now but it always aborts... I have it sitting on a USB stick but I'm paranoid it's the wrong 1.51 update file... The PS4 is currently on 1.05, are the updates cumulative?

Camera cable is also on the short side for my requirements, not to easy to resolve.
