So far I am constantly in a state of fear in this game.
51k are playing this is good!
So i played for about 2 hours now and died a few times but this is my modest and most simple house for now and he is called DJ Glitch (it was a random name and i liked it
) Also all the stuff you see like the doors and computers..found a underground lab or something so i wrecked the place and put it in my house.
Yes it's a beta but goddamn it's pretty polished one so far. And the music and atmosphere sucks you right in <3 So glad i backed this on there website they deserve every penny and this is how you make games. I love it when i chop down tree's the sound animations of it.

I didn't get an email either, but I originally had a humble bundle purchase so i got the key off of that and entered it into steam.
I still have three hours to go!

As expected, the game runs like ass for me (even after the tip someone posted above). Looks like I'll have to wait for some more graphics options and optimization

I don't know if it's a glitch but my camera somehow wasn't vertically-centered on my character. Like my character was halfway between the middle of the screen and the bottom. I couldn't find camera controls so not sure.
Go to your humble bundle key page.
Go back into the original email you got from the Humble Bundle. Click the link in there and there should be a new option on that page to get the steam key.

How do you plant the wheat and banana seeds? I put down dirt and packed dirt but neither work

I have to resist clicking because I'm already going mad enough waiting.
Especially knowing how much I preordered this for and being bitter and jealous that people can buy and download instantly and play while I'm at work.
Check your old emails. You are probably going to have to create a HB account because that's their key distributor. You would have gotten an email from Chucklefish a few months ago with "how to access, etc".

at home. downloaded. hoping to play for a good 2 hours tonight.

Also, my character is broken, I cannot get copper ore in my inventory no matter what. It used to work, but it doesn't anymore, so I can't progress.

Hold shift to manipulate a single block at a time, works for placing and removing.
Yea going through original email I was able to pick up my key.
I have a few questions..I find it funny I was able to figure out how to do walls >.< but can't figure out the rest.
I can't use anything I put on my L&R buttons (like sword)..how come?
Also I built a square with wood planks...thinned it a bit and put walls up..yet when the sun meter gets empty and screen goes all white I get damage over time til I die or beam up to ship...why is this?
Love the game but the mining and building process is a bit slow...

You've been playing for 2 hours and you built all this? How the hell is that even possible haha, I'm playing for what, 4 hours and I haven't even built the distress beacon.

Someone also mentioned that by putting 2 torches together, they give off the same heat of a campfire.

Seems like they come back over time. I could be wrong though. I haven't gone far from my camp but seem to have plenty of trees.
You are correct.
Trees grow back naturally.

Click the beam button on the right or go on to your teleporter and hit E. It doesn't always work though.
I've played around with the multiplayer a bit.
It seems that my SP world is the same as my MP server world. I added something in MP and it was there in SP. Same the other way around
I then made another character and got into the same server. I spawned at a different location. I looked through the map and I found the planet my other character was on
I'm now more confused than ever. Does the multiplayer just turn your SP world into a server and everyone spawns at a different location?
