Where is Rocksteady?

"here."

Give them time.

Let them take the Arkham universe in wonderful, new, innovative directions!

Their simple/excellent combat system was later adapted by many different titles throughout this generation.

I'm sure they're developing something. Something Batman related?

Something Batman related? Rocksteady? No way!

Developing Batman Arkham City - Definitive Edition.

A Green Arrow game would make big bucks seeing as how everyone and their mother loves the tv show adaptation (Arrow) of the comic book. Also bow and arrows have been a trend in gaming for a while now.

Though the combat/exploration might be a bit too similar with the batman games... Soooo... Superman game?

Arrow gets 3.2 million viewers a week. The last Batman movie made nearly a billion dollars. They're making Batman.

Hopefully working on that full open world Batman/Superman game with full Gotham city complete with Batmobile and full Metropolis. Both cities explorable by both characters. Also with completely new artstyle.

right?

Argh! You're pushing me into fantasy land!

The idea of driving the Batmobile around Gotham City makes me reel. If Rocksteady could pull it off that would be sweet!

The previous Rocksteady games were great. There was only one thing wrong: they weren't afraid of the player. You've got to strike fear into them from the start.

I want crooks by themselves or the last enemy in a group to try to run, or cower in crippling fear (before being crippled for real)

Working on Batman Arkham State
Or a big ass Arkham World

I would love for them to make a TMNT title.
As unrelated as it is to what they did before.

Anyway, i hope they take their time, Arkham Origins was a nice "expansion" to City, but i think it's enough of that, before they start to taste like Assassin's Creed.

Wherever they are, I hope they stop churning out these mediocre batman games.

Christ. We get it. Go do something new.

Rocksteady did not make Origins. And you can be sure that the next Batman is coming fall 2014, with Montreal working on a new batman for 2015 while Rocksteady works on the 2016 game.

Takes a long time to make a Batman and The Justice League game.

lol. What does a voice actor, THE voice actor for batman to many, have to do with a good character? I mean, you're insinuating that TAS/Justice League/JLU batman isn't a good character with this statement.

You really do hate everything.

Nah, he's right. I love Conroy's work on TAS but in the Arkham games his Batman comes across as an arrogant arsehole. I hated him. Maybe the Voice Director is to blame. The guy who played him in Origins did a much better job.

In the same way not every Assassin's Creed was made by the same Ubi team? That doesn't mean the franchise fatigue won't set in.

Haven't played much of Origins and not against other people playing Batman...but Batman IS an arrogant asshole. It's not Conroy's fault if that's how he came off.

No one announced anything at VGX. Rest assured, those developers are still functioning.

Hopefully ready to take the series another massive step forward like City was while at the same time learning from the Origins team on how to make a good story and have a good Batman character (although Conroy seems to be back for this so that's not going to happen).
Warner Bros Montreal had some great villains design, heck I loved every one of them.

I kinda hope that Montreal is doing an 'Arrow' game in the vein of the TV show with more freedom of course.

That's how Batman is pretty much supposed to be. What's wrong with you?

There are a lot of episodes where he's not a dick, but...yeah, he's usually a dick. lol. It's why Dick leaves in TAS (Things Change). But then there's stuff like this:

Conroy is amazing as Batman. I loved his work in the Arkham games and pretty much everything he's done for Batman. I can't see how anybody can say he was "bad" as Batman, personally.

I admit I'm extremely biased, though.

wat

Batman is (intentionally) extremely arrogant in Origins and it's one of the central themes of the game >.>

Haha! I think I chose my wording poorly. Let me try again: Conroy's Arkhamverse Batman sounded like he enjoyed the smell of his own cold grey farts more than he did actually fighting crime. He was unbearably smug, incredibly dry and offensively pompous.

That ain't my Bats. At least, that ain't how he has come across in my many years of reading/watching.

I wish they would do something other than Batman. They have more than enough talent to try their hand at something else. For me, the mark of a truly great developer is mastering several genres.

I don't care if he's considered THE actor, he is atrocious in the first 2 Arkham games and the guy who did it for Origins destroyed him. Conroy gives the most boring robotic performances and has some really poor timing in certain lines. He was completely outclassed in Origins.
