VIDEO AND ARTICLE!

The first video just shows the draw itself while the second video farther down below shows evidence of the draw being rigged.

Also a list of evidence in the article for those who can't understand the subtitle in the video.

I dont trust FIFA nor do I trust that video...Im sure the video is rigged too.

Sky is blue.

Money is green like skittles, taste the rainbow!.

I think your Maple Chugging days have caught up to you, good sir

Also Olympics > FIFA in corruption

Next time you will tell me that Football are played using he foot and happen to include ball somewhere in there., OP.

Usually I just laugh at these conspiracy videos (not even watching this one), but it's FIFA and the groups do look totally fucked so, eh, probably.

There is always this weird thing about sports rigging . . . why does it matter? These are games, not some legal dispute. Why should the government care if they are rigged? . . . especially in places where gambling is not legal.

No one complains that the WWE is rigged. So why should it matter for the NFL, MLB, or FIFA?

What does "the groups do look totally fucked" even mean?

Brazil's group is a joke, Group E is all mediocre teams, B and G are relatively stacked...

Looking at it again though, I think the main issue why the matchups seem so weird is that so many perennially great sides aren't so good right now.

Also, there are two obvious 2010 grudge groups in USA-Ghana and Spain-Netherlands. Seems more like FIFA are trying to engineer an exciting world cup than necessarily giving some teams easy passes.

Because people are betting a lot of money on the outcomes?

I'm sure Sepp Blatter resents these accusations. FIFA has always being a paragon of integrity and honesty in the sports world. Nothing shady ever happened there and I'm sure they wouldn't compromise any aspect of a prestigious event such as the World Cup for something so unimportant like millions of dollars, or anything like that.

You know you can apply the same reasoning to any business at all, right?

When I pay for a physical product, I assume it will work correctly. There are laws in place (at least in Australia) that protect my rights if that product does not work correctly - i.e. I'm entitled to a refund.

In sports, 'working correctly' means operating under the prescribed rules and presenting a fair competition.

Some of it is certainly fishy but "the groups do look totally fucked" and such is just what will happen with the random draws from the seeding layers that are not really seeding layers.

I like this. Almost got me...

France, Switzerland, and Brazil got easy groups. Coincidence?

Switzerland and Brazil are both in the first top seeding layer, so them getting generally easier groups is kind of why the system is there in the first place, to mix it up a bit.

France are just fucking France, they will mess it up during the group stage somehow anyway.

No it doesn't. No one gives a shit about this Mexican side. Its fucking terrible and lucky to be in the WC in the first place.

Hmmm while Mexico is far from their best game these days, that doesn't mean shit for TV ratings. It's fair to think most of the brazilian population will be interested in every game of their team while mexicans will always watch the national team games, both mexicans living in Mexico, mexicans in the US and mexican-americans.

Ratings will be huge for that game, Mexico's actual level means shit.

Ya but they could have ended up with a lot of stronger teams. Like France. That would have been an awesome opener. Being top seed just means you don't end up with another top seed team buy doesn't protect you from being in a group of death.
