I have no idea why I never got around to putting myself on Gaf's list until now. Guess I lurk too much.

Regarding the topic that got mentioned earlier: I love me some roman cancels. As long as they're limited with a significant resource cost they bring a ridiculous amount of potential for mindgames, combos, making stuff safe, etc.

UMvC3 and all it's DLC is being delisted from XBL and PSN soon, so it's all on sale.

This is strange. Delisted entirely? More licensing woes or are they making room for a new product? For reference, you can still buy vanilla SF4 from the store, but previous versions of SSFIV (a different retail SKU) are unavailable and replaced with AE which is the newest. Vanilla MvC3 didn't have a digital version, so you can't make a comparison there, but it's possible they can be making room for a new SKU.

Not sure why people are making Storm out to be the xfactor. IMO, if magneto doesn't do work then Fanatiq is done.

Did SSF4 even have a digital version? I only remember a disc release.

Does this mean they'll stop asking me if I want to check the DLC every damn time I start the game even though I own it all already?
 
Honestly that sounds more like bad news. It looks like a licensing issue more than anything.

I don't know, maybe I am not reading into it correctly.

Hmm, what if another tournament doesn't have the DLC characters in the future?
 
I really can't call this one, which is why I won't bet it. I've had this sneaking suspicion since the Chris G/Filipino MMs that Nemo might be the best Marvel 3 player by a large margin. But I can see him losing this MM to Fanatiq.

If there isn't a new SKU announced to replace the old one then the game is officially dead. If Capcom does not care to even provide DLC characters for purchase so people can at least play the game in tournaments... the game is done.

If it was just MVC3 delisted then I would've believed too...

But they are de-listing MVC2 too. This looks like a standard licensing issue.

I mean its not like they are going to replace MVC2 with a new SKU lol.
 
Capcom is better off just making a capcom only game. MVC2 being delisted as well?

After all that hard work to get that + MVC3. what a disaster.
