Does Cranky Kong count as a staff wielder?

The hate for the SSE is overblown imo. Yeah, it was boring, but the cutscenes was cool, and some of the boss figths like the one with MetaRidley or whatever was fun. Also, the way they had Sonic enter is late was a nerdgasmic moment imo, and worth playing through just for that.
Wha?
Kid Icarus is sweet.
It's a poor man's ice climbers
Kid Icarus is a good game.Dillon for Smash. He's a new character from a new game and worthy too!
And hey, since when has game quality ever affected being part of Smash? We got Pit after all!
EDIT: Oh hey, Member
Instead of SSE, they should build a huge Metroidvania where only certain characters have access to certain areas

Ice Climbers is in my opinion one of the worst games Nintendo has ever made. It's an interesting idea but god damn it was broken to hell haha.
I've only played it a bit, but yeah, this was my thought on Uprising.Kid Icarus Uprising is a game to me that might have been enjoyable if the control scheme wasn't awfully non-ergonomic and counter intuitive. I don't like the platforming bits cause it feels loose and kind of jank and it's hard to tell your perspective in those moments, at least for me. I didn't mind putting up with touchscreen controls in Phantom Hourglass and Star Fox Command (not that I'm crazy about those games), but Kid Icarus Uprising is just designed to hurt your hands.
Put it on the Wii U and revamp the handling while platforming and we might be getting somewhere.
Kid Icarus is a good game.
Uprising on the other ha-*Dodges thrown fruit*
"Only?" That's like half the game.My only problem with Uprising was with the on foot sections. The controls and camera didn't help.
They're not wrong. The controls required me to use a stand. When you need to sell a stand as a peripheral for a handheld game, you know you fucked up somewhere.I've added Kokonoe and Toxi to my "list"

Nah. Pit is rollin' in hearts.
I'm surprised it took as long as it did for someone to say this. Shadow and Knuckles would have the most variety for their movesets without getting too ridiculous.

Agreed, and I also felt they were harder and more exciting.Oh yeah, Brawl's event matches sucked. Melee's were far more interesting IMO.
That would explain why I had so much trouble.Yeah, the controls is Uprising's biggest flaw. This is coming from someone who was comfortable with them by the second level and mastered them by the fifth without ever using the stand. It sucks that my younger brother couldn't get the full experience out of the game because he was left-handed. Had to use homing weapons to compensate for the worse control option. He still loved the game though.

I really want Dr. Eggman, hunched over in his Eggmobile. Just as much as Mario and Bowser, if not more, Sonic and Eggman are inseparable, and it was a crime that Eggman's only appearance in Brawl was a trophy. (I know Mario was in Smash 64 without Bowser, but that was a different situation.) Eggman would have 22 years of boss fights for them to draw move inspiration from, and most of them involved him bolting things to his Eggmobile. It could be the legged version from Sonic Adventure 2, if he needed to be grounded.
Plus he and Jill Dozer could be mech buddies.
In terms of more normal-sized Sonic characters, Blaze would have an interesting moveset, augmented by her flame powers. At the very least, I how she makes it in as an assist trophy.
Agreed, and I also felt they were harder and more exciting.
"Time for a Checkup" is the one I remember taking forever to beat.

My inner child is screaming. That was one of the easier ones, if you waited long enough for the cloud to appear they'd follow you off the edge while you floated to safety.

I'm trying to think of a good way to implement Eggman into Smash without using the Egg Walker (I like Sonic Adventure 2 but I don't think he should use the Egg Walker in Smash) and I'm finding it tough unless they let him slightly float? Although, that'd be a smash first for a standing animation.
EDIT: That said, if you're left-handed, you're fucked. KI:U is basically unplayable for lefties.![]()
Uprising is the best game on the system and one of the best games Nintendo has made in the past 10 years.
He's also ludicrously fast for a fat scientist. He was running at the same speed as Sonic at the end of Sonic 2.Eh, Eggman is really strong, can break stuff with his fist (look at Lost World) really easy
Kid Icarus Uprising pointer controls is what I want. It would play so good and smooth.
