We've all done that at one point or another. I remember people here were actually more excited about TNA than WWE for a little while.

Now that I think about it, TLC should be replaced with Night of Champions as the last PPV of the year. There are too many "extreme" pay per views, and most of those aren't that "extreme" anyway. Actually all those gimmicky "Extreme" PPVs should be replaced.

I think having all the championships on the line would be the perfect way to end the year and it could eventually be a new starting point for the road to Wrestlemania.

Yeah, that AJ/Joe/Daniels match came to mind. TNA has some good stuff but it's a shame there's just as much crap as well.

Honestly I think it fits the PG era well. I can't really imagine today's WWE with the same gritty and grimy Attitude era look. Not to mention the graphics department has come a long long way since the 90's.

Now if only they'd replace the scratch logo. It doesn't have to be radically different, just smooth it out a bit.

Old Man Otani comes to New Japan to celebrate Masahiro Chono's 25th Anniversary by facing the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura. Daichi Hashimoto's at ringside, watching on as his late father's best friend tries to dethrone the champ and take the belt back to ZERO1. Nakamura's somewhere between strongstyle Nak and coked-up rockstar Nak at this point and he doesn't fuck around, taking Otani to the mat and dominating for much of the early going. Then, Nakamura busts Old Man Otani open the hard way with a series of elbows and probably wishes he hadn't, as the New Japan & ZERO1 veteran finds his fire and sets to work dismantling Nakamura. The finishing stretch is great stuff, Nak looking visibly frustrated as the old man just won't stay down, Otani channelling the spirit of Shinya Hashimoto as he tries desperately to win the big won and honour his fallen brother. Top notch stuff.
