Assault Android Cactus PSVita/PS4/PC.

I can't wait to play this on my Vita :D
I really hope there's a multiplayer mode though

no PS4/Vita cross-play is a little disappointing but I sure hope it can be patched in the future

(PC Vita PS4 Cross-Platform Play would be insane)

I would love to see that especially since Ps4 and Vita can party chat together.

But it is cross-buy on Vita and PS4, so that's awesome and unexpected.

It's this like a modern version of Smash TV / Loaded? If that's so, ill buy 6 copies. 2 for each platform.

Smash TV was a huge influence on us early on, I see a lot of devs say their game is "Popular thing 1 crossed with popular thing 2 with your favourite bits of popular thing 3" but I've tried to avoid describing Cactus that way as it doesn't really mean much, but you're spot on with the inspiration :P

Sorry about the lack of cross-play, it seems to be a big thing people want but we would rather be up front and realistic about our features than promise something we can't deliver. Our plan has always been to release the game and see what people think and then investigate the features people want most for post-release updates, if they are possible.

Dont worry about it, it would be a cool feature, but imo getting the game out there is far more important, and I think its good that you guys are being upfront, and honest about it.

At this point I just want to check the game out, looks like tons of fun.

As long as it's cross buy and cross save compatible, it doesn't really matter for me.

Thanks for the encouragement :)

As for PC release, I'll have more details to share at the end of this week, we're working to get things ready as I type this (well, Sycle is, I'm slacking off and browsing GAF >_>).

Three people, tiger. Three people.

Damn this game looks shit hot. The way the floor shakes and rumbles before the flip in that one video makes me shit bricks at how intense that is. And the other one when everything goes dark and you see those robots climbing out of the gaps in the floor? That shit is horror movie worthy, oh god I can't wait :D

Indies are the one saving grace for gaming for me since they aren't afraid to try new concepts or even go back and redo 'old school gaming'. I really wish the Japanese would jump on the indie bandwagon as well so we can get some of those old school games back on board. I'll check this demo out when it's released.

The next update includes the newest android, Aubergine! They're teasing the reveal here

Probably once the full PC version is released. Pretty sure that's the first milestone in seeing AAC on Vita/PS4.

Check the PC/Steam thread for an update, I asked the same question re: the PC release only a few days ago :)

Well we haven't talked much about our EX options, the framework for bonus settings using credits you earn by playing through the game that's not yet in the early access :P As you can see in the GIF's there are a few graphical glitches to sort out though, like bullet orientation and visibility during hit reaction/weapon swap.

The only one we've specifically announced via interviews is our classic mode for an orthographic view sort of SNES style :)
