Portable console screenshot thread (3DS/Vita) - Rules in OP

I'll have to link my Vita up and get some screenshots off it that I've taken the past few days. It won't be accepted as a USB drive on my computer, which is odd. EDIT: OH, you have to use Content Manager. That makes sense and is way more convenient to boot.

That Mickey game looks dope! How'd you manage to take a picture of a PS1 game?

Some Super Mario 3D Land screens:

The game takes a lot longer to get going than 3D World but boy is the finale good. Probably my favourite last level of a Mario. Although I haven't completed 3D World yet, if it somehow topped it...

It's an option in the Home menu, you still can't take native ones with Home + Start. It was available on PSP for Mickey's Wild Adventure. Weirdly enough, that's the only game I've got that it's available for; Crash 2 and Spyro 2 don't have it. Crazy really when you consider how niche Mickey is in comparison.

Yep, I only saw very few PSOne Classics that support this. One other I know of is Legacy of Kain.

It's from God of War's David Jaffe, and is a very challenging platformer. A must for any Disney/Mickey fan too. The screenshot option is only for a select few PS1 games, and is found in the emulator's settings menu. It was present when you played on PSP, and I imagine on PS1 too.

Here are some Injustice screenshots, I don't know if the game runs at native resolution, but it still looks pretty ugly in standstill. Better than Mortal Kombat for sure, and on the Vita's screen and in motion it doesn't look bad. The cutscenes are just taken directly from the console version, so when playing the story the transition from the nice looking cutscenes to actual gameplay is jarring. However, it does run at a consistent 60fps so the gameplay is still great.

we must be looking at different threads than..

seriously, the image quality on most of those vita shots is appalling.
I still can't get over that. at least the 3ds shots are sharp as fuck. developers who can't get their games running at native resolution should burn in hell

Really, come on, really...
The 3DS images mostly look washed out and pixelated and don't forget jaggies, jaggies everywhere. The Vita blows it out of the water.

This is the thread that made me finally buy a Vita, especially those Killzone screens...drools...

Picked up Uncharted, Lumines, Tearaway, Killzone: M, Wipeout 2048, Need for Speed MW and Sly Cooper along with the system, hoping to add to this thread soon!

Uncharted is free on plus

Is there any way to get bigger higher quality screenshots from the 3DS? When I save the one from doing "Inspect Element" from Miiverse it gives that really small, low quality sized SS.

Even though this level's (Lighting Strike) graphical style is one of my least favorite, boy does it have some amazing atmosphere.

It's not even close to native and has plenty of frame rate drops too (some stages and costumes/characters worse than others). I had no real problem with Mortal Kombat since it was at least smooth to play, but i miss moves cause of drops in Injustice all the time, i was really disappointed.

Here's a pearler of a screen i took for assessing the visuals though:

Doesn't look any better on a real Vita :D

I have never had any framedrops during regular gameplay during the 100+ matches I've played already. I've only noticed framedrops during a few scene transitions.
