Super Smash Bros Wii U & 3DS Thread 4: New Year, Old Arguments

On the subject of the announcer title yell, that yell is the entire reason I was rooting for the idea of officially subtitling the two games "Kerfuffle" and "Fisticuffs". Just imagine the announcer (Master Hand) screaming those words at the top of his lungs at the end of each game's intro animation.
SUPER SMASH BROTHERS FOOOOOR
*cue Title Screen with System Name under Logo*
Works for both versions.

Pic of the day. This is the Luma Shot, which highlights the different ways to control your Luma. You can switch between controlling the Luma alongside Rosalina or away from her.

"By the way today, the 15th anniversary "Smash Bros." is since I left. I played the 64 version at the time of the child, but I do not Some people may Nantes adults, completely"

lol that auto chrome translate is beautiful

"Today is the 15th Anniversary of the launch of the first Super Smash Bros. There may be some players out there who played it on the Nintendo 64 as kids that have grown into adults."

And this is the shit you give us? I'm never staying up late again. :(

He...looks just like he does in WW, showing the fact that his outfit was sown together doesnt change the entire perspective of it.

You're joking right?
Look at his creepy weird raised glove popping out of his nylon jersey, his shiny plastic head (for some reason even larger now) giving you a dead soulless stare, as the minimum wage theme park worker inside contemplates whether it's worth it to go on living.

Then there's all the other strange details - the obscenely large mastersword hilt, the strange, tailored skinny pantalloons, making him look like an emaciated puppet, the baton - not held, but rather crammed into the crook of his thumb. It's a clusterfuck of epic proportion.

Fisticuffs don't really roll off the tongue well. Super Smash Bros Fisticuffs? um... Also Kerfuffle, I dunno. Doesn't sound all that easy to pronounce and it too doesn't roll off the tongue well.

I actually like that on the smash 15th anniversary smashgaf all shared first memories of smash,
When I was a young cub I first saw the commercial for smash 64, it blew my goddamn mind, the most memorable commercial Ive ever seen.

Same time tomorrow?

I've been a vivid follower of Fisticuffs as subtitle for a Smash Bros. since Brawl's name was revealed.

I play Samus, who never was better than mid-tier (in Melee) in all 3 games. I play Brawl Falcon, who is bottom.
For some reason in fighting games, I heavily gravitate towards either really technical characters, low tier characters, or a combination of both (hi MvC3 Tron).

eh
Samus is sort of high tier in Melee
she's awful in the other two though, so LOL

Can't be any worse than Diddy Kong

Uh oh

this, on the other hand....ahaha

Yeah, Toon Link looks pretty bad, honestly.

I feel left out with you guys leaving. I just got up. It's still 6am here.

Yeah, these come out so early for me. I dunno if I like it or not.

Oh, and it's a shame that people think Toon Link looks bad, I personally find his look extremely well done. Props to the team for a really unique, clean take on his look.

Imagine me and you,
I do,
I think about you day and night,
It's only right,
To think about the fox you love,
And hold it tight,
So happy together!

I wasn't even hyped for this but you guys were hyping me with Wario Land 20th Anniversary + Smash 15th Anniversary.

Man we got literally zip. Not Smash Bros. 64 port on Wii U, no Wario, no Wario themed stage, NO NOTHING!!!!!! AAAAAAAARGGGGGH!!!!

hi

Well, I'm at least grateful for learning more about how Rosalina works! Learning to use her will be quite a challenge, it seems...

You're joking right?

I don't think he looks that bad, but now that you mention it, yeah his right hand looks kinda weird.

Ouch, I agree, nice to see everyone's smash memories. Mine was getting smash 64 on mine and my best friends 12th birthday (had a b-day on the same day) we both got the game and stayed up all night long at his house with some friends playing to our hearts content. I'll never forget all of our jaws dropping and freaking out when we saw that first challenger approaching screen. The rest is history! Night GAF! At least we all got to celebrate the anniversary together!

Oddly I wasn't expecting a thing. First smash memory? 2001 wanted sunshine but got melee instead for Christmas..was hooked ever since. Still remember laughing like an idiot when I first used the hammer in adventure mode :P
