Yeah it did. That's a part of the track where you can either glide through a bunch of launch stars and get boosts or do trick boosts off of the ramps.

Snake and Wolf are maybe's at this point. What's pretty telling is how Lucario wouldn't have been included if it were not for the extra manpower with Brawl. Makes me wonder how many other characters were close to being cut, and if these issues were reasons why characters like Wolf, Toon Link, Jigglypuff and R.O.B felt rushed compared to some of the other characters.

I had fun trying out Lucario's Mega Evolution in the story but didn't use him beyond that. He's BEASTLY.
I think it's quite possible everyone will come back from Brawl.
Sakurai makes a point in tonight's update of how the hard work of Brawl's staff made Lucario possible back then. I don't get the impression Sakurai is one to leave out unique characters who are already designed.
Leftover data on Brawl shows that Sakurai wanted to include Mewtwo and Roy in that game, and they must've been squeezed out due to time. With this go-around, I recall Sakurai saying in an interview that they ported over Brawl in its entirety, so I imagine that makes it even easier to work off of what is already there and keep all of the characters from Brawl.

Whoa, Lucario? Interesting. What does this mean for Mewtwo, I wonder? It's hard to say either way... I definitely don't think it means for sure that he isn't coming back, and Sakurai would likely hold out on his reveal longer than Lucario's since it would be a bigger deal.

I've always thought there was more to that stage than we've seen so far. I think it undergoes some pretty crazy changes.

I believe Pokémon Trainer will stay exactly as he was in Brawl. There's no reason to squeeze in Gen 6 representation there when it makes much more sense for Lucario (and Mewtwo).

Wow, 22 revealed so far and 19 left from Brawl? I really hope we do end up getting 6-8 more newcomers to finish out the game. I also hope the rest of the newcomers are left secret

The only guys I can even consider from that list are Wolf (likely), Lucas (maybe), Game & Watch (unique, doubt it), Ike (probably), R.O.B. (not popular, maybe), Wario (doubt it), and Snake (possibly).
Most everyone else seems like a mainstay at this point. I'd cut ROB or GW for a new 'mon, IMO.
Anyone hear any news about Pokemon Trainer? I hope he gets 3 new 'mons to choose from.

I don't get thinking that characters will get cut. I just don't. Sakurai hates cutting characters that he worked hard on and that contribute to the roster. Just because it happened once doesn't mean it's going to happen again.
