Super Smash Bros Wii U & 3DS Thread 4: New Year, Old Arguments

That Wii U KI stage was shown on January 29, so less than a week ago.
The Mario Galaxy stage was officially revealed on November 15, and Rosalina's reveal was December 18 - a month after that (not a week or 2). And the tease with Kirby using his hammer with the Galaxy stage's background was a month before that (September 10).

So the question would probably be, was the Kid Icarus stage officially revealed, or was it "teased"?

If it was revealed we'll probably get some Pic Of The Days on it now.

If it was only teased we won't be seeing it for a while :

Considering that the full stage wasn't shown, I'd call it a tease....or a troll, if you take the Palutena leak into context.

Something tells me we'll see it again in a nintendo direct which can happen any day now.

Welll, it's a bit half and half. It's obviously not like the Galaxy stage tease where he intentionally made people think it might not even be a new stage at all. This was obviously a new stage, and he wasn't trying to hide the fact whatsoever. Still, he went out of his way to focus on a peripheral detail without actually showing the stage itself, which is similar to how he teased Galaxy.

I think he just wanted to take the opportunity to troll us, palutena reveal is probably not far off so he figured why not.

I still believe that was one of the best daily pics ever.

for Project M, I got as far as "Put these things on your SD Card and make sure these other things are deleted" and quit when I couldn't find my SD Card reader

I am satisfied with my non-experience with it

I'm happy with the characters in M but not the stages.
I understand why they were made how they were, but the homogenization bugs me severely.

As a casual player who plays Smash pretty much solely drunk with friends with items on, I still like a ton of what Project M's added. Mewtwo/Roy are obviously awesome, but I really like some of the new movesets. Making Ganon, Ivysaur, Sonic actually not shit is so great. I just wish they didn't completely remove every single Brawl stage with random elements. The Warioware stage is awesome...!

Yeah some of the levels were disappointing in Project M. Didn't care for what they did to Green Hill Zone...

On the flipside, I love that they brought back certain 64 and Melee levels <3 Also glad they replaced crappy Brawl levels like Hanenbow (or whatever that weird water stage was) and Spear Pillar.
