I'm so mad. I was really looking forward to Dustforce. Just played some of the trial, and the platforming, style, and mechanics are amazing, but the framerate is unacceptable.

Oh, also, I thought the dpad felt great while playing. Don't know what you guys are talking about. I thought the it was stick-only from that one post so I was happy to see that dpad works and works great.

Yeah, dpad works great. I can't play worth a damn with the stick. I feel my movement is more precise with the dpad.

Top of the page recommendation: Don't buy Dustforce Vita until they (hopefully) patch the framerate.

I bought the same one you did to top-up/extend my PS+ subscription and redeemed it via PC with no hassle. The webstore had issues the first week or so after Black Friday in accepting those PS+ codes, but they eventually sorted it out. Call up Sony CS: 800.345.7669.

Weird, those guys did an amazing job on the PC port of DmC. Probably figured "eh it's Vita, no one cares anyway" and released it in the poor state it's in.

For those not experiencing the audio bug in Dustforce, I suggest you take a screenshot and slash around. Outside of the brief drop when selecting a character that's the only way I can replicate the issue. It did happen to me in levels when I wasn't taking screenshots though.

I really don't know if Hitbox Team can do much themselves except bug Capcom about it.

They are a 4 man Team and they are already working on their next game, I can only say that they were very very receptive with the steam release and worked on urgent issues as soon as they knew about them.

Let's hope that it gets resolved fast.

For credibility I will post my ridiculous time I spent with the game on Steam.....

If you like P4, P3 is most similar to it. I don't want to get into the P3P vs FES argument, though. P1 and P2 don't play anything like the later games.

If you like fighting games, you might find Persona 4 Arena enjoyable.

The leaderboards in Dustforce seem bugged too. I can't seem to improve my standing on it even though I set a way better time and score. Unless I'm missing something here.
Could be that the reconnect function is bugged, my Vita went into sleep mode and it asked me if it should reconnect for online features. Or maybe it's because PSN is being wonky.

Edit: Restarting the game seemed to have fixed it.

Edit 2: And now it's not submitting my scores at all anymore. Must be psn being wonky.

Soul Sacrifice could definitely use more spell variety

Once everything got broken down into categories and you saw the Sigil setups it became really transparent and boring.

I hope they mix it up a bit more in the sequels/expansions

I think if would have been great if melee weapons (swords, arms) could be combined. Like putting a sword in square, a arm in triangle, and instead of summoning the weapon for 30 seconds when you press the button, you just attacked 1 time. They could have built some great combos using different offerings.

My biggest complain is that as you progress, you discovered melee does not work at all for most bosses and the best way to play is ranged attacks + shield + healing item. There are some bosses where you can use it (like the Minotaur, the Golem, the Cyclops) but some others it'd be better if you don't even equip a melee weapon (like Cerberus/Werewolf, Griffin, Kraken, Slimes)
