The news was subtly announced in its earnings presentation today, where the company said that its next new bookings would be "stable" but that it would be delaying its flagship titles to focus on quality.

However, in its outlook for its 2025-2026 financial year (April 1st 2025 – March 31st 2026), the company mentioned some of the titles that it intends to release.

The following games were announced to be released; Anno 117: Pax Romana™, Prince of Persia™: The Sands of Time remake, Rainbow Six® Mobile and The Division® Resurgence. The company also said that "other titles" will be announced at a later stage.

Before the news, we know that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake was given a fairly vague "2026" release date, but with today's announcement, it pins down a January – March 2026 release date.

Give it to me

The only good games Ubi can produce are the one they will remake (if they don't fuck it by modernizing them too)

I don't have high hopes. Last time we saw the game, it looked rough. They must have had to start from scratch.

They did, they 'Metroid Prime 4-d' it and took it away from Ubisoft India or whatever budget developer and started over from scratch at Ubisoft Montreal (the original Sands of Time dev). So I have high hopes.

just change the graphic, do balancing, and add QOL, don't mess or you will be beaten again by fans : /
ugh i wish they didn't mess again

Just need a Prince of Persia Master Collection with all 6 of the 3D games:
The Sands Of Time, Warrior Within, Two Thrones, 2008, and Forgotten Sands (both versions).

Available for all consoles & PC!!

And for the dozen Splinter Cell fans a collection of all 7 of the 3D games.

Speaking of this, The Prince would have made for a great Soul Calibur guest character.

Wouldn't be terrible. Would still be a little dry in terms of moveset potential, but I don't hate it, and Ezio was playable in 5, so Ubi and Namco have a history of collaboration for this specific series.

Afaik, they did after they took the project away from the Indian Ubisoft studios and gave it to the Montreal studio.

They must have. It was revealed in 2020 and was supposed to come out the following year. Yet here we are FIVE(!) years later and it's still basically a year away.
