Takeover

New Mode
BO7-S01RELOADED-ANNOUNCEMENT-014.webp

Fight over a set of three neutral zones in this new dynamic objective mode combining elements of Hardpoint and Domination into a brand-new competitive experience. Teams earn points for capturing a zone, which then disables that zone from the match. Once all three zones have been captured, they rotate to a new trio of zones following a short cooldown. Redouble your efforts with each subsequent shift of the objectives to achieve the highest score and win the match.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem

Fallout LTM
BO7-S01RELOADED-ANNOUNCEMENT-015.webp

Brave the Wasteland as its irradiated atmosphere descends on Multiplayer, blanketing each map in toxic particles as players engage in a 6v6 moshpit of Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint featuring S.P.E.C.I.A.L. buffs providing vital power ups. Keep your radiation levels in check to avoid adverse reactions. Thankfully, the HUD features a handy Geiger counter displaying your level of exposure at all times.
Acquire a variety of power-ups to improve your chances of survival in the harsh Wasteland. These power-ups are dropped by eliminated Operators where they fall, including:

Pumpkin Pie: Increased health. Even irradiated Operators need to eat now and then.
Nuka-Cola Cranberry: Score multiplier. Quench your thirst with the Wasteland's most popular soft drink.
Jet: Increased overall speed. Highly addictive.
Psycho: Improved hip fire accuracy and headshot damage. Users susceptible to bouts of intense rage.
RadAway: Cut down your current radiation level. An essential item for curbing the effects of the Wasteland's irradiated air. Rad levels also drop after eliminating enemies and are further mitigated when engaged with the objective.
Luck Bobblehead: Increases the odds of finding better power-ups and RadAway from fallen enemies. Secure one early for a big advantage. NOTE: All players wearing a Fallout-themed Operator Skin, including the two free Operator Skin rewards from the Fallout Event Pass, will start the match with this buff active automatically.

The Ghouls

Fallout LTM
BO7-S01RELOADED-ANNOUNCEMENT-016.webp

Irradiated horrors swarm the surface as Vault Dwellers fight to survive a feral Ghoul outbreak in this 24-player Wasteland twist on Infected, where Vault Dwellers must scavenge for Perks and RadAway in an irradiated environment. Eliminated Vault Dwellers return as relentless Ghouls. Infect everyone or outlast the clock to win.

Vault Dwellers: Deploy with a full Loadout of items and three Scorestreaks—LDBR, H.A.R.P., and War Machine—to help face off against the horde. Vault Dwellers become exposed to higher levels of radiation poisoning throughout the match. Reduce your levels by grabbing packs of RadAway dropped by eliminated Ghouls along with other power-ups like Max Ammo, Full Power, and Insta-Kill.

Vault Dwellers who chain enough Player Ghoul eliminations in a row will gain additional enhancements, including increased movement and sprint to fire speed on the first kill, improved hip-fire accuracy on the second, increased ADS and weapon swap speed on the third, increased reload speed on the fourth, and double points and headshot damage after the fifth kill. NOTE: All players wearing a Fallout-themed Operator Skin, including the two free Operator Skin rewards from the Fallout Event Pass, will start the match with an active buff automatically.

Glowing Ghouls: Once the Infection timer begins, one randomly chosen Vault Dweller will become the first Ghoul, a toxic variant of the enemy glowing green with radiation, benefiting from increased health and the ability to instant kill enemies until they are no longer the only Ghoul in the match. On death, the Glowing Ghoul explodes, increasing the radiation levels of Vault Dwellers caught in the blast radius. Every time a player spawns as a Ghoul, there's a random chance that they will spawn in as a Glowing Ghoul instead of a Standard Ghoul.

Standard Ghouls: Ghouls attack with their hands and are also equipped with Ninja and Tracker Perks with the Recon Combat Specialty. Ghouls who chain enough Vault Dweller eliminations can activate the powerful Deathclaw Scorestreak, transforming them into an even bigger threat.

Actually looks a really cool event, having this ready to go so soon after Christmas is impressive. Meanwhile we've had 2 maps since October in BF6 and none in 2 months.

The premium track is actually 1100CP, I thought it was going to be 11.99, so I'll probably pick that up as well, if only for that cool ass VATS finisher.

Endgame: Feels like the red zone has been tuned up? I wiped on my lvl 60 and thought it was gone but got a res from being in a squad.

What level should you be before engaging with the campaign boss?

I figured out just now too late in the instance that the encounter starts with the red quest in the bottom of the 45+ map.

Got to do the deathclaw encounter instead and a bunch of other stuff. Cleared an exfil in the red zone solo and got a message that the guild hunters had been deployed. But I bailed out and didnt see what that was, maybe a random quest.

Found a freakin exotic in a random safe quest, and the wraiths dropped a ton of exotic cases. Got the Frost Cloud exotic track fully upgraded as well.

if you want to take down vehicles easily it's best to carry a launcher as secondary.
Im not dropping the exotic for a launcher, but I might try and swap the maddox for one. Afaik you can always level one of your own weapons at the upgrade stations?

It would be nice with a storage for weapons you find and want to keep.

The lucy bundle is a chunky 2800CP, didn't expect that, at least it's filed with cool stuff I guess, two skins, 3 fallout themed guns with tracers and death fx, a fun finisher, a gun screen, animated emblem/calling card and a whole fallout UI theme.

I think i still have enough cod points after buying the premium fallout pass I need to check out the store

I still have a lot left so I got it right away, though the higher price for a collab bundle is a surprise, I think it might be the first time since that skeletor bundle for MWII; would chalk it up to only being one bundle instead of multiple, but the terminator and ballerina bundles were the standard 2400CP, with less stuff than this bundle of course.

I have been searching for a way to turn off crossplay towards console players because their aim assist is destroying me at close range, it's utterly ridiculous. But nope, the ability to turn off crossplay is disabled in the PC version :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Play on controller? Well, guess what, I can't even git gud because the aim assist on controller on PC is dialed down :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Edit: Wait, can just buy a console! .... or install cheats! :messenger_tears_of_joy:
Edit: Just tried some controller playing. At least I'm getting lots more headshots now - even with nerfed aim assist...

I think I'm done with it.

Dunno whats going on but i'm getting kicked from games mid match NON STOP right now... its like every other match. I was fucking SLAYING last match down to final circle just destroying everyone and BOOM got kicked again. No idea if my team won or not. I hope it doesnt have anything to do with the consecutive wins to earn special camos bullshit...

caught a bug in endgame, the rhino scorestreak ate my field acquisition, which of course was my exotic; not that big of a deal but still something to keep in mind. The fallout power armor scorestreak is really cool though.

So apparently you can reset the reward box by making it move or something; saw these guys doing it after the fallout boss and got to switch my exotic to one I was looking for and then max it out right away lol.

Fuckin hell I love this series but im struggling to get through matches and finish this fallout event. I what the ghoul skin do im trying to stick with it. Purchased the Lucy bundle for 2800 cod points just for thr vats hud alone only to find out it only works in regular mp and zombies. Lame. So many blatant rage hack bullshit cheaters im so sick of it. Every damn game even arc raiders is infested with cheaters now.

GTA V still active is interesting. Gave myself up to COD Black Ops 7 and I've played call of duty's since cod3 on the original xbox, BO7 just feels like an overdesigned chaos (abilities, streak spam, visual clutter everywhere), I don't know if this game wants to be a futuristic Syfy shooter, or military, the maps have clutter, and vertical nonsense, SBMM/EOMM is killing the casual fun, and I feel like the prioritize skins, and store updates more so than gameplay, and bug fixes, I swear modern COD treats the player like a walking wallet.

Last summary post before I drop the game and the bitching.

Console rotational AA in Black Ops 7 is so ridiculously strong that it erases ALL of the advantages on PC (and yes; controller AA on PC is nerfed (!)). Then there's - Cheating... It's worse than ever, root kit or not. So: Can't disable console players. Can't disable controller players. Can't avoid cheaters. Can't queue into PC‑only. Can't queue into input‑only. Can't rely on anti‑cheat... It's a perfect storm of futility.

AND, of course all the unnecessary shit going on. The sound in this game = PTSD. The screen shaking is utterly crazy. The visual clutter and shit on the screen is ridiculous. The killstreaks are utterly idiotic. The focus on "buy this buy that" is tiring. The menu UX is crazy, they couldn't even manage to harmonize it between MP and Warzone. The matchmaking, same people between lobbies (even gunfight), it's stupid.

End game carried me for a while, but now I'm bored. Zombies is even worse now (cold war zombies was peak, after that it just got worse and worse), it's just a dark repeating struggle with no breathing room, and no Liberty Falls.

I'm signing off. Have fun. Peace out.

That's exactly right. It's sad. I don't see myself playing multiplayer for much longer if this shit keeps ramping up.

But it doesnt take that long? I unlocked most of it in an evening.

edit in Endgame mostly, and some MP. Maybe try Endgame or Zombies if MP is too slow.

Some substantial buffs and nerfs in latest patch

Maddox rfb nerfs to versatility, but makes sense with 2-round prestige attachment which makes it work best at close range.

For multiplayer and Zombies, the patch notes detail major adjustments for the Maddox RFB assault rifle. This includes a reduction to movement speed, added recoil, and significant decreases to the gun's damage range. The developer says the Maddox RFB has been very strong because of its quick time-to-kill in close quarters, but the controllable recoil let it stretch its effectiveness out to longer ranges than intended.

Ak-27 battle scar attachment buffed

Several adjustments are made to the AK-27 assault rifle Battle-Scar conversion to make the weapon more viable to use. The conversion kit previously turned the AK-27 into a slow-firing hybrid between an assault rifle and marksman rifle, but the developer says the conversion made the fire rate too punishing. The new buffs include a reduction to the weapon's fire-rate penalty, removed movement penalties, and fast aim-down-sight speed.

Sturmwulf smg buffed

Additionally, the Season's new Sturmwolf 45 now has increased damage range and less recoil, making the gun more powerful and easier to handle.

Also, no new zombies map at s2 launch, will be there for reloaded, and there will be a new map for each season except the last one it seems, which will be the haunting again of course.

the vtol endgame world boss is actually rough as hell, don't bother trying to fight it without cover.
My second death in Endgame was getting assfucked by the rocket barrage.

My first one was getting squashed by the giant robot, I didn't notice that the portal wasn't under that foot. Must've been pretty funny to other people in the lobby.
