First time in the Stations history that they've had to do this, TBF the last place you want to be in a medical emergency is bloody Space of all things
 
Been oddly secretive around this considering people will find out what's up the second they shove one of them into an ambulance before the others.
 
I'll take a guess it's not viral like Covid since you get that from being around other people and the astronauts are quarantined by being on the station.
 
I've seen too many sci-fi movies. I know how this ends. GAME OVER! It's just as well put us out of our misery.

Space is pretty free of germs. So now we contaminated the space station with sick persons germs.
 
Per the article this is not the first time someone has got actual seriously ill, like blood clots I'll at ISS.

Space does crazy stuff to blood flow, muscles and eye sight.
