Hi,

I am getting a big wish for my birthday that my wife will play any mmorpg with me, I want to choose wisely.

Debating Guild Wars 1 Reforged or Guild Wars 2, never played those two.

Or maybe Star Wars Old Republic?

It needs to be easy to team up otherwise she will loose interest

The Star Wars one is nice, it's a familiar franchise and more approachable because it has a lot of well presented story driven dialogue and scenes. Very nice atmosphere too.

I remember SWTOR being pretty good in co-op because you can do story cutscenes together

Is she a gamer? If no, surely something not too convoluted.
I think ESO or Runescape (though RS obviously becomes grindy eventaully) could be good if she's not.

ESO is a fun casual game, I played it in first person and treated it like a new Elder Scrolls game. Might be the best $6 I've ever spent. 200 hours of fun adventuring.

You could always just play with your wife. I'm sure it will be a lot more fun for both of you.

How about LOTRO it's very chill great storyline and pretty easy to play! If she liked the shows at all she will get invested..

If not find one that she will enjoy content wise!

Why MMO? Why dont you play a co-op game, like BG3?
For a MMO, you can try FFIV...

if you have to use a birthday wish then I can almost guarantee you that she will lose interest anyway.

I would choose ESO. That's the only MMORPG that ever remotely held my interest.
