Title says it all. All the ice -covered land masses on Earth thaw out and we find remnants of ancient civilizations there. Let's say a civilization in a gaming world was actually discovered to have existed in our world but they were trapped under ice unseen by us until now.

Which civilizations do you think would be most interesting to have been a part of past human civilizations? Do you think they survived? How would the discovery of their tech and ways of life would impact all of us?

Not sure about lost civilisations, but expect lots of oil and precious metals.

So much untapped natural resources make these parts of the world very attractive for "strategic military purposes" to certain governments.
