Chris Avellone openly mocks Jez Corden about his "shilling"

I give it 24 hours before Jez talks about how he has spoken to people within Xbox and they are excited about what is happening and they are positive about what is happening behind the scenes, and we will hear about it later in the year.

Pointless really. It's obvious what he is but he's not going to change his ways either.

Jez is a consistent liar so Xbox loves him. The good news is more and more people are leaving Shillville, so his consistent bullshitting to defend Xbox is becoming more and more ineffective.
 
I admit that I am torn here.

On one hand I found Avellones comments to be unnecessary and pointless.

On the otherhand, I am beyond grateful to see these shills getting called out and humiliated.

These shills did a ton of damage to the brand. They constantly said things were going well and never once utilized their fanbase to demand better of Xbox. They were interested in being treated as celebrities by Phil and company. Xbox is ultimately responsible for their brand failures, but if Jez, Parris, Destin, Ryan McCaffrey had even a little interest in holding their feat to the fire and had been honest about the state of the company...things might just might have been different and we wouldnt have all these studio closures that cost 10s of 1000s to lose their jobs.

Jez was good at being a mouthpiece for Xbox. That has SOME value, but now its cost him.

I've never liked Jizz. He's awful. But, yeah. I mean. After yesterday I've changed my tune and I think MS is done.

I think there's a high chance Magnus doesn't even happen now. Or it's all drastically changed. Maybe just OEMs or I dunno. I think MS is done with gaming. We are literally nothing burgers compared to what they think and will make from AI and focusing on their other shite.

Their priority now is offloading as much work as possible to AI. I don't think studios will close completely, but they'll be trying to replace a lot of the workers with those skilled in making AI do the job.

The only thing I've heard about MS that I desperately want to be true, but cannot bring myself to have even a residue of trust is them fixing Windows 11.

I get by pretty well with Windows 11 IoT LTSC as my gaming OS, but there is still a ton of work to be done.

I only care to the extent I like seeing the remaining fanboy shills get dunked on, or look ridiculous.

I mean, isn't it the 25th anniversary. There's nothing more MS than them killing it on this anniversary. Would be kind of classic MS / poetic.

They've got big games coming this year so I guess they get those out....I really have no idea. We are in uncharted waters. 😂
 
It's always nice to see Jez get called out.

Maybe you MS guys should have held them to account more and criticised their bad decision making rather than drinking the brand kool-aid.

The "just 4 games" is a case in point. Was labelled a total nothing burger at the time iirc.
