The vast majority of console versions are going to be purchased on base PS5/PS5 slims and Xbox Series consoles. Only showing PS5 Pro footage and pretending like that's an adequate example of all other consoles is disingenuous as fuck, and you damn well know it.
So no, I'm not inclined to shut the fuck up when developers or their PR mouthpieces pull shady shit like this. Show how it runs on the platforms the majority will be playing it on.

I literally cannot think of a single game that has done that.
Realize that if the base PS5 version was shown, then people would say they're hiding the Xbox version.
The game will release this Thursday, look great on base consoles, and everyone scare mongering will look like fools.

If you care so much about seeing visuals on PS5, you are willing to give the devs a hard time, its because you can't afford a Pro, it has nothing to do with the game. If you cared that much you would have a Pro.

So wait for reviews and don't pre-order ffs. There will be hours of console footage day one. I'd be willing to bet money Sony had a marketing deal with Pearl Abyss to only show Ps5 Pro footage or something along those lines before launch to push pro sales. For crying out loud we've seen this game running on a MAC already. Everyone needs to chill out and just not pre-order if you really are that concerned about it.

Idk man, the PS5 Pro build looked pretty stable. In order for the game to run like crap on base PS5, one of these statements would have to be false:
1. The PS5 Pro is a substantial upgrade to the PS5.
2. Crimson Desert runs fine on base PS5.

I've been hyped for this game basically the second they showed the reveal trailer. The idea that literally ANY criticism or mild concern is "wanting the game to fail" sounds suspiciously like Reddit echo chamber shit and I don't like it.
I want this game to fucking explode in sales, get great reviews, and incentivize South Korea devs to continue making amazing single player games. I want their winning streak of eating the lunch of AAA Western devs to continue.
