You are all acting like some facts were spoken.

If MS wants you to know what they are doing they wouldn't be dropping hints. I have no idea what will end up happening, but right now XBox is not committing to anything. Interviews are worth nothing. Xbox can literally tell you how valuable you are and then fire you the next day.

Gabe knew for a long time. The entire thing with Steam Machines and Linux is to prepare for this. If MS think Gabe would be an easier target than Sony, they are mistaken.

May be they are targeting enthusiasts and ceding the casuals to Sony. I'll be interested to see if Asha changes anything from the original plans.

The Series X already performs 1:1 with base PS5, so how do you release a meaningfully cheaper device that also performs 1:1 with PS5?
