The very best of social media

Not a knock against you but this is why I don't give a shit about social media.

It's loud, useless, not funny and 500% narcissistic.
Go make sh*t happen. That's some Rocky IV montage level inspiration. Let it fuel you.

(Admittedly, the clip loses some steam once he's out of the airport/subway)

Yes, roughly 33°N. This is the well-known 3-year solar analemma timelapse from the HPWREN cameras at Mount Laguna Observatory in San Diego County, California (latitude ~32.84°N). The figure-8 shape, horizon, and timestamps match exactly."

Can anyone confirm? Landslide was not a hit prior to 1994? I find this hard to believe...

Wow. I had to look it up. Basically it was a song Fleetwood Mac always played on tour but never released as a single. Back then radio stations could only really play songs released as singles. A few years after Smashing Pumpkins covered it, Fleetwood Mac released a single of it recorded live and that's when it finally became a hit on its own.

"The song garnered consistent airplay across a range of formats, however, and became a staple of their setlists." https://www.songfacts.com/facts/fleetwood-mac/landslide

He's right in that Fleetwood Mac's version had a resurgence after the Smashing Pumpkins' cover, but leave it to ol' Billy to self-aggrandize lol

FM Radio stations/DJs absolutely could and did play tracks that weren't released as singles. Landslide included.
