The Management Board of Cl Games SE with its registered office in Warsaw (the "Company"), acting under Article 17 paragraphs 1 and 4 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 16, 2014 on market abuse and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC ("MAR"), hereby provides the confidential information delayed on April 14, 2026 (the "Confidential Information").

Content of delayed Confidential Information:

The Management Board of Cl Games SE with its registered office in Warsaw (the "Company") hereby announces that on April 14, 2026 the Company entered into a Separation Agreement (the "Agreement") with Epic Games, Inc. ("Epic") that releases Company from its obligations as provided in the Binding Publishing Term Sheet concluded by the Company and Epic on June 14, 2024 (the "Term Sheet").

The conclusion of the Agreement by the Company and Epic will not affect the ongoing cooperation between the parties in relation to the Unreal Engine, Epic online services, Epic account services, or the Company's participation in the Fortnite ecosystem, and each of these relationships will continue and remain governed by their respective separate agreements.

Keep? I thought that PS3's From games were a clunky mess but after playing the floaty controls from the PS5 demo of the first LotF the bar reached a new low. They better step up.

Latest remake was good and turned great after patches, I didn't like some mechanics but the game was really solid. Hope they can surpass themselves with the sequel

I meant for this game, hahaha.

I played LotF, it definitely is closer to UE5 floaty controls than what From Software provides in their games. I hope they will improve it here.

They already did. LOTF in its current form is very good. The evidence is there to show that CI (to their credit) has listened and learned from the critcisms. Which is about as good a reason to trust that their new game will turn out ok as it gets.
 
Good choice. LOTF is great for a soulslike. I do not like the genre but I am pretty sure if LOTF had "Fromsoftware" logo on it most of its haters would be creaming it.

No interest in Lords of the Fallen 2 and have no issue getting games on Epic Game Store but perpetual Epic Games exclusivity is wild.
Im hoping CI Games have made enough money as so they can NOT need to do this in future.

Praise the sun. Currrently playing through LotF in coop on the new difficulty and it's quite good, looking forward to this one.
 
I'll wait on a Steam page with a release date before dancing a jig. Won't lie, I supported both of the previous Lords of the Fallen day 1 on Steam and their EGS exclusivity announcement pissed me off.

In fact they went overboard with the interconnected paths. Some paths would unlock just to save you like 1 minute of tracking around.
 
Seeing CI games improve over the years has been great.

If anyone likes FPS and sniping with some stealth then try out the Sniper: Ghost Warrior - Contracts games. Yes the naming is bad, but they are cheap and very fun. Lots of ways to complete missions like a mix of Hitman and Sniper Elite.

Terrible news. The Epic Games Store is perfectly competent in 2026 and is less intrusive than Steam. Xbox Mode having full intergration helped a lot.

It's not a big deal having another launcher.

Finally, like I said in the other thread this is what them raising money has been leading up to and this game can now reach its full potential. Can't wait and I'll be there day one.
 
I suppose that Epic did not pay anything yet, because the game is not released yet. That being said, good for CI Games if htye think they can bring money to the table with any sort of exclusivity - which are not bad in themselves, but you should know what you are bringing to the table and what you are leaving behind.
 
Good news, that way people are able to choose where to play the game.

I might give the previous game another go next time it goes on sale. Thought it was a bit boring with that lantern mechanic and the humanoid bosses but people here seem to like it, so maybe I was a bit too harsh on it. I remember the graphics, art design and feeling of impact during combat being all well done.
 
I remember games being released on EGS left and right after they made it a third party store. It took a while, but publishers soon enough found out it wasn't worth it.

You clearly haven't played it since launch. The combat, animations and "floaty" controls were fixed and these issues haven't existed for a while now. The game has been updated 75 times and people are still talking about issues from launch. At some point you guys gotta let it go.

LotF2 is easily one of the best Soulslikes on the market and 2 looks to be even better.

Jesus, what a take. The good news is you can still buy it on the Epic store, if that's what you really want, and the even better news is that it's guaranteed not to be the total disaster of a launch it would have been had it been stuck only on Epics store.
