Are they being bankrolled by the government or something? I mean what?

Buy yourself back from SQEX. Self-publish the same game. Now you're bankrolling the next experimental GTA thing and becoming a publisher? Pretty crazy.

Writes a lot, says very little
Those two screenshots and the rest on the site look like someone took two cancelled games, Agent and Eight Days, and mashed them together.

I’m curious to see how this will pan out.

Same, lol I thought of those games too

Pretty screenshots do nothing for me, i need details, substance, function

We'll see.

I guess Hitman made them big bucks? Amazing game no doubt, in my top of all times, but I dunno, success tends to do bad things to companies. We still havent seen anything about the James Bond game.

I paid good money for this Dynex!
Is this different from that Everywhere game that's been in the works since 2017, or is it different?

Benzies' name doesn't particularly resonate with me as an indicator of quality, so I'm kinda ambivalent until I see more.

Play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier with a mysterious neural implant who is suffering from memory loss and flashbacks. Set out on a series of dangerous covert missions to unlock the secrets of your past in a world filled with the persistent threat of artificial intelligence, high-tech experimentation, corporate espionage, political corruption, and an unchecked military. MindsEye is an immersive experience with a mind-bending complex narrative, rich environments, groundbreaking combat, future tech, and high-speed chases.

That sounds pretty good to me.

A slightly futuristic GTA. Shit, it’s about time. I can’t really think of one, besides maybe Crackdown or when Saint’s Row decided to go batshit crazy.
