Anime IP mobile games are by and large "pump and dump" type games. They release the game while the anime is semi-relevant with the sole purpose of siphoning out as much money as possible in the shortest time frame. They (typically) have no long term plans for the game, there is no thought on whether or not the IP can support a multi-year game because it doesn't matter.
If you're even looking at this, set a hard and fast rule to go in for free, check it out until the daily grind becomes a chore (it 100% will), and then uninstall. If you see Crunchyroll's logo on it, just don't even bother installing it.
At least the generic anime arena fighters can still be played a few years later, despite not usually being very good beyond super move fanservice, these games will be shut down pronto as soon as the revenue dips and you will have nothing to show for it, won't be able to log in, etc.
TL; DR - just don't bother.
