Wow. With the exception of WoW for MMO, that is quite possibly the worst list I have ever seen in the history of me.

Bitching about irrelevant lists.... Wait, nevermind.

No. DISCUSSING about a list that was voted by readers. That's it. There are no clever points to make here. This is a forum about video games, and you should be expecting some arguments about video games.

Sucks that MGS 3 isn't up there but props to the readers giving SC:PT the recognition it deserves that most award events disregarded. Halo 2 isn't good enough to be GOTY.... MGS3 deserved it.

I'll go one further.
Fable is better than GTA: SA.
Too often Fable is treated like a failure because of PM's big mouth. Rather than being treated for what it in fact IS -- it is treated like what it is not. However, GTA: SA is another expansion pack, this time incorporating RPG elements and a sort of Animal Crossing for the gangsta aspect, but does this carry the game, no of course not. Fable, flawed as it is now, is emblematic of the the future of the RPG -- GTA:SA is just another version of GTA3.

Fable is by no means better than GTA:SA i just meant that it definately has better combat mechanics than GTA:SA.

I was just trying to couteract Little Beru's obvious troll.

I disagree with you.
But agree with you on Little Beru's obvious troll passed off as "discussion."

Another awesome version of GTA3. It's not like GTA3 was a poor game to begin with. It's ten time the size of GTA3, the mission are a lot more varried than any other game I played and the customization part is above everything on the market presently ; how is this "another expansion pack"? I would love to buy expansion pack this complete.

That list needs Metal Gear Solid 3...and lots of it.

Yes, it's bigger. Yes, there's more missions. But the gameplay is fundamentally identical. Wonky targeting, horrendous performance and the customization part of the game, while deep is still pretty simple. I ate more Hamburgers I got fat. I need new clothes, wait for loading screen and wear new clothes, et cetera.

What I do like about GTA:SA is the increasing performance of the player character regarding driving, shooting, et cetera and the improvement of your performance on said tasks as your levels increase. GTA:SA is a fine game, but like I said earlier, it's just an expansion of the two previous incarnations. Making your own clothes and interacting with town people in Animal Crossing is better than pimpin' your ride like Xzibit and smacking hoes on the mean streets of San Andreas.

Wonky targeting? I thought the targeting system was a lot better than in the previous game, and a lot better than in most games of its genre (see Getaway or True Crime). Yeah, performance wise, it's not that great, but it's still damn impressive from a PS2-hardware point of view.

Better than past versions, impressive for PS2-hardware - that's some serious qualifying.

bitch bitch moan moan? BITCH!!! moan....moan moan? cry? WHINE WHINE! BITCHHHH

:lol bitch bitch?

:D whine.

Best Fighting Game of The Year: DOA Ultimate? WTF!? I find DOA to be a friggin shallow fighting game that features breasts. Best fighting game of the year SC II.

Polls/reader awards are pointless, since so many more people own Halo 2 and GTA:SA than any other game. A game like HL2 has no hope of beating Halo 2, even if it is better.
