The firm claims 20 hour plus play time for the Xclef 500, which costs $450, support for FM radio/FM recording, and PC and Mac compatibility.
It can hold around 25,000 music files or even backup your hard drive, claimed the firm, because it's recognised as a USB device.
The unit has a built in microphone for voice recording as well as an analogue/optical line in for recording at up 320kb/s.
As well as MP3 files, it supports WMA, Ogg Vorbis, Wave and ASF. The company said it's also set to release video products into the market at the beginning of next year.
It also sells smaller models at 40GB, 60GB and 80GB and obviously at cheaper prices.
