18-1 or 73-9?

Pats certainly. They lost to Eli, and he wasn't even a favorite to come out of his conference.

Back to Back to Back series against Lillard/Westbrook/Irving showed that the crack in Curry's armor is definitely attacking him on D.

oh do one. seriously.

was a great season and they got banged up in the end. they not going to admit it though.

same as Cavs last season when they lost Kyrie.

You dummies, 18-1 was played on a neutral field in Arizona
Warriors had 2 games at home to win the title , 2 games

73-9 is worse because they didn't have to go for it after clinching the #1 seed

73-9. If you are the greatest team ever you should be able to win a 7 game series. 1 game playoff, especially in the NFL, anything can happen.

73-9 by far.

Warriors were up 3-1 and then lost the game 7 at home.

Football is any given Sunday. But to lose 3 straight? That's awful.

Almost impossible to compare based on the nature of the NBA having playoff series and the NFL having just one game for playoffs. If you played that Pats Giants Superbowl in a series of 7, there's almost no question the Pats would have won.

Patriots were the better team and should have won but NFL games can swing one way over another so easily.

Warriors were up 3-1 in the series and just played like dog shit until game 7 then couldnt hit anything at the end. Warriors choked that one away.

73-9.

Why? Warriors need to win 1 game in 3. Just fucking one. There is no lucky pass like with the Giants. They got beat 3 games in a row, 2 at home.

73-9 is waaaaaaaay worse. They had two home games to close it out and had a 4 point lead with 5 minutes left. They proceeded to fuck it up as badly as humanly possible. It's actually impressive.

18-1 was way worse sorry Pats fans. This finals will only be remembered for CLE finally winning whereas 18-1 season only thing anyone (other than Giants fans) remembers is Pats choke.

18-1, Pat's were more dominant than the Warriors and the Cavs were the best team from the east. The Giants barely made the playoffs as a wildcard team with zero expectations of a championship.

73-9

18-1 just needed one bad game.

The Warriors had to lose 4 games. 3 straight as Lebron dragged his dick all over Oracle Area.

I feel that just cause the Warriors were up 3-1 it was a bigger loss.

Both teams lost the last game cause they didn't make shots/moves they usually make. At least the Giants played them well in the last game of the regular season so there was precedent.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
The Super Bowl is one game. Doesn't matter how mismatched the two teams are, either one can win when there's a 50/50 shot.

The Warriors lost three straight games in the Finals, two at home. The shit just doesn't happen in the NBA.

Anyone who says 18-1 doesn't understand sports. The Patriots almost lost to that same Giants team at the end of the season and almost lost to a shitty Ravens team as well. Any team can lose a game in the NFL. The one game sample size assures that.

The team with the best record in NBA history choking a 3-1 lead in a 4 game series is unparalleled. It's a choke beyond choke.

18 and 1, easily.

Yes, the Warriors were up 3-1 and lost game 7 at home, but as least they were playing the second best team in the league. The Patriots got beat by the fucking 10-6 Giants.

18-1 definitely. NO ONE gave the Giants a chance, it was viewed as a fluke for them to even reach the Super Bowl. The Warriors had already shown some vulnerability and Cleveland has LeBron.

73-9. While the Giants were big underdogs, it is one game (and it came down to one crazy play), so anything can happen. The Warriors did not only lose, they are the first NBA team ever to give away a 3:1 lead in final, and with home advantage to boot.

The Giants were on a roll, had only lost one game on the road all year, and almost beat the Pats at the end of the regular season. The Warriors were up 3-1 in the finals. The only worse choke I can think of (as much as it pains me to say this) is the 2004 ALCS.

Those people were morons. The Pats barely beat that same Giants team in week 17.
