You have to applaud 1up's constant pursuit of outside-the-box content; whether or not it clicks with you, they're not getting locked into news/reviews/previews.

As for the comic, I dunno, it might work but it feels more of a page-based comic sliced into 3 panel segments which doesn't really work as a standalone...
