Because we all agree that big sites are "professional" right?

I have a little more faith in journalists who have ties to major video game companies and have relationships with well-known developers.
And I have a little more faith in sites with decent designs.

For the number of times mainstream sites have been bashed in this forum on design, content, and publisher relations, I find this faith a bit appalling.

If the website you posted was even close to the popularity of IGN, it would catch even more flack for poor design, crappy articles, etc...
That gives me more faith in IGN than in PunchJump.

Why post if you don't care?

As for the award results, well, they are to be expected.

Why not? Why not give my opinion of a site if it's posted here?

Jesus. Okay, because the topic isn't about what you think about site design, how much faith you have in IGN, and how poor you think something is. It's not about you.

It's about a crappy site nobody cares about. The only time I ever mention crappy sites is when they have exclusive media of some sort or a contest where GAFfers could potentially win free games.

Back to you again huh? Is no one talking to you today outside the computer?

Stop trolling and actually contribute something worthwhile in another topic that might make you feel like your opinion matters.

I remember when all there was were these smaller sites and to be honest it was better back then in regards to less BS and more honest opinions on games.

Yeah, the good ol' days. I wish all previews still read like this:

"This is one of the most anticipated games to be released for the Gamecube. This mature title will let you travel through 20 centuries as many different characters. The game features an insanity meter wich rises when there is an absence of enemies causing you to hear things or see things that may or may not be real. The games nightmarish graphics are sure to draw older gamers and help remove the "kiddie game" tag from Nintendo."
