I'd rather see Hugh Laurie win best actor in a drama over Keifer Sutherland. I love Keifer and 24, but Hugh Laurie does such an awesome job pulling off Dr. House. That show would not exist if it weren't for Laurie, while 24 exists more because the writers than acting talent (though it would definitely take a hit if Sutherland weren't there.)

it's close but I'd go with Laurie.

Grrrr...clearly not enough people can see Deadwood...that's the easiest vote I've ever seen, and he came second last?

I shall now kill people randomly.

Desperate Housewives is possibly the most overrated show in history. I say possibly because Will and Grace is still out there.

Why is that? Sliders and 7days are on the same level as Lost and 24 and they weren't nominated for the Emmy. Or at least they should be in the comedy category.
Have you ever even SEEN Lost or 24?! :lol

Sure I have and it's nice brainless trash just like Sliders or 7days. But to have it to compete in the same category as say Deadwood is a little bit beyond laughable don't you think?

Fixed and yes. :lol :lol

At least they've got Mariska Hargitay winning... she rocks.

Comedy? Are you taking the piss? You're not exactly convincing me you've seen these shows, they aren't Buffy where there at least is a strong comedic element.

Lost has a few laughs, 24 has...none, and Deadwood has LOADS! Seriously, I laugh my ass off at Deadwood, if any of those 3 could be considered a comedy, it's that.

They are not exactly funny because they try to but because they take themselves seriously. THAT is funny.
