I wonder what kind of adjustments the Celtics can make without the bigs. You can't have Erden or Big Baby play Amare because that is suicide. KG can't really defend Amare because he has no help in the paint. If I were the Celtics I would immediately double Amare and force the other Knick players to win the game.
The thing is are the Celts a team that doubleteams on the touch? I saw them run late doubles but I haven't seem them double immediately yet.

I know a girl who's a big basketball fan, is visiting from Japan and is at the Raptor game tonight. I feel bad that her one NBA experience is going to be of a quiet unhappy arena watching a lethargic team getting its throat stepped on. At least she gets to see Rose.

They like to run late double teams as you saw in the game, but they have to start running them early. The Celtics don't really double team guys early, but they have to adjust somehow and that is the only adjustment I think they can make.

Edit: I didn't think the defense by KG was terrible. Amare is just on fire right now. The problem is KG can't play Amare tight because he will just blow by him and dunk on Erden or baby.

The fucking Cavs are leading tonight?

Are they purposefully trolling their fans?

Where was this effort on Dec. 2nd?
you guys are shooting pretty well, rebounding solid, and not turning the ball over. Our offense is struggling hardddd right now.

The Celtics may not need Shaq to beat the Knicks, but Perkins? Hell, even JO? They're strength comes from their deep rotation, but that's been negated tonight.

Or, I'm just doing damage control for what may be a Knicks celebration tonight. :lol

BTW, Bulls are crushing tonight.

She didn't even get to see Bargnannni!

EDIT: Peterb0y is my favourite poster in NBAGAF.

I don't think not having the bigs is hurting them all that much today. Even with the bigs Amare will get his points. The big thing for me is that Rondo has played a terrible half. Rondo has to take control of the offense.

Boozer finally gives them a deadly inside presence, which frees up Noah for divedowns. If Chitown can get a better bench and scour the NBDL for a SG better than Keith Bogans (and then cut Bogans) that team will go deep in the playoffs.

Outside of that game earlier in the year he usually has poor games vs. NY. Knicks always leave him open and he doesn't shoot/makes a dumb decision.

I think you guys will bounce back in a couple of years

You actually don't read this thread when the Heat aren't playing do you.
He admitted that he didn't know we had an NBA-Age until after July 8th.

CJ Miles' PER is up 50% YoY, MIP to go along with his 6MotY award. Gordon Hayward has a PER of 2.5, for reference, Adam Morrison's rookie year PER was three times higher and Joe Alexander's was four times higher. This is the worst PER a top ten pick has ever had in their rookie season.

I thought that was all part of his shtick though. Now I see we are dealing with something far more sinister.

I had him pegged as a Cavs fan for some reason, maybe because both teams suck equal amounts of penis

The thing that annoys me is that when teams back off Rondo he stops being aggressive. He doesn't need to hit a 15 foot jumper to be effective. All he has to do is go into the lane and drop floaters all day. Floaters in the paint are there if Rondo decides to stop being a bitch.

It's almost like the Cavs have been in a coma since and are just now waking up.

Too bad they'll still lose the game.

They have a pretty decent bench, as Gibson gives them a good backup forward. Korver/Brewer have honestly been playing great off the bench as SGs. The one time Rose couldn't start, Watson scored like 30 in Denver. Their main weakness, as far as backups is Asik. He just makes too many dumb mistakes, and can't make any free throws. I get your point about needing to be deeper, though, and especially their need for a starting SG.

BTW, JR Smith is NOT what they need.

PER is retarded and you should know this.

Why you gotta hate on Ryu just because his team never wins?

He's definitely a Bobcats fan. Where did you think all of that 80-2 talk came from?

My favorite part of Boozers return is that, Noahs a good passer, seeing some of the dimes he's dropped has been fun.
