Yup.. bad teams go on 11 game win streaks.. Didn't you know?
Who said they were a bad team?

Its nice playing teams having a second preseason - then you play Boston and are left scratching your head.

Lakers/Celtics/Heat are too good imo. It makes all the other "good" teams look average:

Spurs
Jazz
Thunder
Mavs
Knicks

and all the "average" teams look like crap.

EDIT: And Heat match up terribly against Boston/Lakers, it will take INSANE outright scoring from the Heat to compete in the playoffs. Lebron tried to do it himself by strapping the entire Cavs team on his back but that only got him so far, atleast with Heat he has other people who can score.

Umm I apologize if you didn't understand me. I was saying if he wasn't a prime contributer en route to our next chip I was going to be very disappointed with him, especially with him playing at the level he is at now.

Odom has been invaluable to us for the majority of his stay. But he's always had those tendencies to disappear against certain teams, and it would really suck to watch him do that again playing the way he is now.

Oh OK, that makes sense.

Atlanta 16-11

Utah 18 - 8

New Orleans 15- 10

New York 16 - 10

These aren't bad teams. To win against all of them in a row (some of which the Heat has lost previously to) is impressive. Don't take that away from them. In addition, ten of the eleven games were won by 10 points or more.

ATL without Joe Johnson. New Orleans has been shit ever since their hot start. @Utah is the only great win of the bunch; New York is OK but come on man, they aren't a top 10 team in the league or anything.

Compare their streak to the other elite teams' runs and you will understand why no one is convinced.

Failure to mention the Bulls makes me question your knowledge of the game.

and win 10/11 games by double digits. Logic.
You see Lakers fans jumping up to stroke dicks when they smack the Kings? Get over yourself and your little bandwagon.

This is such a dumb post.

smh @ ppl who post without watching a damn game this season.

Damnit, Thunder game wont seem to broadcast for me. I just get black screen. Oh well. Guess I'll watch the Mavs remind the Suns why they will be missing the play offs this year.

Don't forget the Spurs, Mavs and still Orlando.

Only here does me saying that this team is playing better than they were at the start of the season, when we were losing to bad teams too, turn into "We are the greatest!!! Best team in the NBA, suck our giant royal penis! We already won!"

And people try to shit on me for running the clowns off this thread.

We have never shit on anyone that sticks around and speaks rationally.

:lol :lol

Brilliant.

While you people argue over your 10+ game win streaks, I will be here quietly celebrating the Clippers finally winning one on the road for a 1-11 road game record.

:(

The Bulls get Beast Griffin next.

Too bad Noah won't be there to scrap with him but it should be interesting nonetheless.

Not even Miami should worry about Orlando in the playoffs. As long as Orlando has Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis no team should worry about them in the playoffs.

If the Clippers were in the East they would probably have a .500 record. Their schedule until recently has been absolutely brutal.

They didn't blow up the Warriors - not good enough bro!

Such terrible arguments in this thread.

IIRC, '96 Bulls notably lost against a bad Bucks team which was far from making the playoffs.

Trolling is okay when you're aware you do it and it does not amount to 99% of posts...

Miami went on a winning streak against a bunch of below average teams - like everyone expected you would - hell, I even called the win against New York tonight.

Miami got props for Utah. But against Cleveland twice, Washington, Detroit... You see Lakers-age planning parades for beating the Kings? :lol

Miami is playing better by not embarrassing themselves against the Pacers I guess. Thats 'progress' right?

You DID read everything leading up to that right? When Miami and New York beat the Warriors "LEAGUE ON NOTICE". When Spurs beat them (along with winning 22 other games)? "Meh - still not a thread to LA"

I'm sure Portland is going to care more about the Wolves' defensive woes than Kurt Rambis. Andre Miller pick and roll is going to destroy the Wolves. This is gonna be bad.

Regardless of the quality of the teams they are playing against, Miami IS playing visibly better basketball. Whether it's good enough to compete with the teams that matter (spurs, celtics, lakers) remains to be seen, but the difference is very noticeable in quality of play in general.

Just got back from the game...

-Hearing LeBron silence MSG continuously with those ridiculous shots was great
-I want to believe I was in the section that started all the chants, ranging from "Fuck LeBron" and "Delonte West" it was too funny to not laugh at all this.
-Unfortunately I missed player intros because the train was fucking taking forever.
-Joel Anthony dunked on the Knicks.
-Joel Anthony dunked on the Knicks.

Yes it is, we were really playing crappy at times against all kinds of teams, great ones, bad ones, average ones. The team was a mess for a while and we are now playing much more consistent and it looks some what like a TEAM, not a bunch of guys trying to do shit on the court.

This does not mean we won't lose against better teams. this doesn't mean we won't ever have a bad game. It just means we found some rhythm we didn't have before.

They look better as in Wade isn't going 4-12 anymore. But even against the Knicks frontline when Turiaf didn't even play, Bosh couldn't make his presence felt on the boards.

Still, I wonder if New York will eventually practice defense because of this. (they won't)

Too many Gaffers sleeping on the Heat. They are 5-5 against +.500 teams. How the fuck isn't that impressive haters.
How is it impressive to win games you're supposed to win? Games most people predicted you would?

Take the W and move on. It's not as big a deal as you're making it out to be.

Is Rambis employing that zone? I remember he was in charge of the Lakers defense the last year he was there. The opposing teams get so many 3s, and there is too much help D when it's not needed.

I'm glad Rambis didn't stay to take over.

Way to be bitches HOU. *sigh*
The fuck happened, they were up by like 30 at the half.
