^ Lucky you. Hopefully you won't get taxed!
Still nothing on my end...
I'm getting worried. EMS Express usually only takes 2, max 3 days from Japan to Netherlands. I mean, I would understand if it was stuck in customs for two days because that's what I fully expect to happen, but the tracking doesn't even show that it arrived in Amsterdam :/.
I knew complaining on the internet would work. Status has now changed and it's in customs.Fingers crossed on the no-charges thing, I will keep this thread updated for future reference! The processing should go rather quickly for you soon!
My first day with a fountain pen Plumix. I got ink on myself. It leaked ink by sitting on my desk. Man, what am I doing wrong?
Smaller than I expected, but still very cool.
I pushed the cartridge in. It had to break the seal, I guess. Seems in properly?Is the cartridge / converter definitely in properly?
Can you not quote things my wife said on our honeymoon in this thread please?
She was talking about the hotel room, obv
My parcel is out for delivery today but I'll have to pay 30 customs fees and tax.
>_<
That used to be the case for us too, this is actually the first time I know what I can expect beforehand. The post system actually has a neat tracking system now that can automatically detect if there's a parcel on the way, what time it'll be arriving and if there are any fees tied to it. Coincidentally just as I'm typing this I got a notification on my phone that the delivery guy is on his way now.You get to know if you're going to pay (and how much) customs before it shows up in your doorstep which is actually good.
In here you'll only know if you're gonna get charged once they are in the front door.

It feels like I'm living in the future.
Once the package has been handed over to the local post service, I can request them to convert the EMS T&T code to a code that they work with, and then I can see the exact the delivery details. It's possible that the same can be done with your parcel, but you'd have to know which postal service is going to carry out the delivery.How did you find out you have a charge to pay? Did it say on the tracking page?
Haha yeah I know what you mean, we were in the dark ages of post delivery until recently as well. Even now it ocassionaly fucks up, with estimates like "Estimated arrival: between 9 AM and 9 PM" ok. lol. Or it keeps saying "Delivery: Tomorrow" for 4 days straight, haha.Wow. At best all the ETA we got is "It will arrive tomorrow between 8am - 5pm" at worst we get something like "estimate arrival: Yesterday" then we'll probably get it today or tomorrow lol

It's here!
I'm so excited to start using it. I was disappointed to find out that there's no free pen included and first I thought that might've been a mistake, but I just looked on the website and apparently English planners don't qualify for the free pen (and tissue holder) ((. If I had known this I probably would've went for the Japanese planner, but oh well. I guess I'll just reuse 2015's pen, even though it already ran out of black ink, lol.
Welp, time to backlog 14 journal entries
Oh and I just realized I have nothing to color with in my planner. What would you guys recommend? I don't know if markers for example would bleed through the paper... Maybe I should stick with coloring pencils.
Yeah flipping through my Japanese 2015 techo, I think it's much better. It has pages for anniversaries, keeping track of gifts received/given and even some space for small reviews of things. I really liked those additions and the English planner doesn't have them. I think I'll stick with Japanese planners from now on. I really did love that penThe advantage of the japanese one is that it's cheaper and has the extras (pen and tissue holder) but the english one has a better cover though, it looks nicer.

I really enjoy the feeling of painting with a brush but still having it easy to deal with and to carry around.
And the colour doesn't bleed through.

Can you mix colors with them?
Where?60 euro's for 10 pens
Woops didn't realize that I ordered the Japanese one so I got all the extra junk. No worries about the cover though since I'll never see it.The advantage of the japanese one is that it's cheaper and has the extras (pen and tissue holder) but the english one has a better cover though, it looks nicer.
any help? :/
You could try the Hobonichi store itself? Can't remember where exactly they're located but it's in Tokyo.Ugh stores in Tokyo are sold out of popular covers. Loft had the pink.
Ok, here we go! I'm posting from my iPhone so apologies if these pics turn out to be ginormous!
The preliminary haul was for me and a significant other;
We went to buy some pens so my final haul for me personally was;
Let me know your thoughts!
It's sold out of the normal ones. I think I'm going to buy the Hello Kitty one then cover up the Kitty with an Undertale sticker. The color pattern is awesome.You could try the Hobonichi store itself? Can't remember where exactly they're located but it's in Tokyo.
I bought my planner there last year around april and they had a great selection of covers.
Well. I ruined my planner. Spilled coffee all over it.
