Weird month with some delayed games, a few old familiars now finally releasing on different platforms. In between those are sandwiched the big hitters like Mafia, Metal Gear Solid and Delta Force

Previous months
January 2025
February 2025
March 2025
April 2025
May 2025
June 2025
July 2025

Probably play some Delta Force with our little multiplayer group. I've already played it on PC and not super keen but will play some with the crew. Probably the same with Gears of War. Still playing Tainted Grail as well so backlog too.

I can't believe Gears is just the ultimate edition again. Bummer. I love the early Mafia games but not sure I have much hope in Hangar 13. Curious though. MGS3 is an awesome game but I've beat it so many times. Not sure a lick of paint is worth the money for me

Mgs delta and dying light the beast, too bad they are at the end of the month...

I may try grounded 2 if the combat is less dogshit.

Nothing jumping out at me tbh, but I have more than enough games to keep me occupied for a good couple of months. It's very likely GOY will be my next day 1.

This is the very definition of a backlog month. I'm going to finish up Donkey Kong Bananza and then probably go back to Mario Kart World and Hogwarts Legacy. Might revisit Splatoon 3 to see how much better it looks on the Switch 2 now that it has been patched.

Mostly going to play dragonball the breakers since it's getting a huge season 9 update and Fatal Fury. I recently bought death Stranding 2 and Wuchang and I'm getting Ninja Gaiden Ragebound but I probably won't get around to them as much as I'd like.

I'm concerned about MGS Delta. Some of the footage looks a little... Soulless? And Virtuous didn't win any awards for Oblivion Remastered's performance.
Yeah, it looks technically advanced but rather soulless. Beside that never been a big Metal Gear Solid fan but i will maybe check out this Remake if it's good.

Looking like a backlog month for me. I might pick up MGS but it depends on reviews, especially for £69.99. Plus, I want to pick up some games released late last year that I didn't purchase at release: Clock Tower: Rewind, Shadows of the Damned Remastered, and Dragon Quest III 2D Remake.

Mafia old country
Shinobi

Some of these:
Maybe still Donkey Kong (just got my switch 2 today)
Diablo 2 resurrected (still the best)
Get back to lunar1/fantasy life /azuma
System shock2
Nwn2
Rimworld
Victoria 3.

There are a couple of things I want to play this month. The new Mafia and Shinobi, mostly. I'll play Gears of War since I got it free I guess.

Backlog month. Finishing up Expedition 33 postgame and some older PC games. Trying to figure out my next move, it's been difficult to have any motivation to play something after E33. At some point I'll get around to Gears reloaded and MGSD, but I'm in no rush so not August and I won't pay full price.

Moar DK Bananza then potentially Expedition 33. I have a ton because of the events in the last 1.5 years of my life to explore. Not considering the decades of buying before that.. lol wtf. Nothing expressly jumps out at me from the list, but Shinobi could be solid.

Most likely a backlog month. I might pick up College Football 26 but I am not even sure about that. I currently have way too many games that I am not playing and some of them are recent purchases.

Shinobi is a must.because… sega!

Gradius belongs in my collection of retro games on my xbox account

Helldivers to play with my xbox crew

Gears and Madden I can play on GPU

Metal gear can wait till it's in a sale because I never pay full price for a game and I got too many AAA games I ain't even so much as booted up the loading screen for yet. But it's destined for my backlog. Plus it will be cool to just see it sitting their in my digital backlog with all my other metal gear games.

Crazy how many digital games I have even as a physical evangelist and purist just by picking them up at 1-10 USD intermittently.

My daughter is going to inherit a gigantic physical and digital library, one of the things I find myself sometimes thinking about. 😆
