I've seen the X-Files syndicated on NBC before...it is likely that there is some connection between the purchaser of the syndication rights and NBC, and some affiliates might use it to fill out the schedule.

Here ABC is airing it Saturdays from 11:30- 12:30 (starting at season 1).

I think its ABC anyway...

And yeah, it works the same way UPN airs drew carey at night or wb has friends on the weekends and w/e

24, Stargate Atlantis, and a few other shows started this past weekend for Syndication. Kind of cool cause its good shows not shit shows.

Ahh, the wonders of syndication. I can now watch Seinfeld, King of the Hill, the Simpsons, CSI, Alias, 24, Smallville, and Stargate Atlantis every weekend on the local FOX affiliate.

It's been on A&E now for about a month or so. There they seem to show it in large blocks, six episodes at a time
