actually it looks a bit better than the e3 screens, but still meh

For what it's worth, I thought it played like total ass at E3.

Also, I'm a HUGE 24 fan, so I better not see "Whatever! 24 fans will like it".

You guys are right, it's pretty blah. In fact, I'd forgotten all about this until this thread, and given how big of a fan of the show I am, well, that should tell you something.

I'll still play through it though, I've played worse lately and I'm too big of a 24 slut not to. It's just that I'm not particularily looking forward to it. I'd love to be wrong and see the game improved from what was shown at E3, but it was supposedly at 80% then, so...

even as a huge 24 fan (watched this show from day 1 without knowing what the hell the show was about), the game doesn't excite me either. the story seems like filler since it's suppose to bridge the gap between season 2 and 3...meh. gameplay doesnt look all that fun in the videos, even if i look forward to decapitating body parts or shoving a towel through someone's throat.

havent been following the previews too much...is the game actually gonna be real time or is the timeline fixed?

That's the boat I'm in. I'm such a 24 slut that I'll play this game even if it sucks. I'm contemplating just pretending Indigo Prophecy is 24 with cult undertones though.

The developer behind this has made some incredibly well made games graphically. Alas.....the gameplay isn't up to par with thier titles, though Ghost Hunter was a step up gameplay wise from Primal.

This game will probably end up looking pretty darn good for a PS2 game considering the last two games were very nice. I loved Primal, that game was so underrated. Sure, the combat sucked, but the rest of the game from the fantastic voice acting to the sweet graphics and story, was awesome.

Indeed. Primal had some damn good production values.

Since I doubt this is coming to GC, I have no 24 fix. I've been playing DC's HeadHunter lately, and it reminds me of 24. Hell, the main guy's name is Jack (Wade). Plus, they're both badass and stuff.

If you don't have a PS2 at this point you don't deserve to have a 24 fix, much less a game fix at all!

But of course it's not coming to Gamecube, since it's being made by SCE Cambridge team :P

There's nothing "huh?" about it. If the only system you own is a Gamecube, then you don't really care much about the vast majority of third party exclusives, let alone games made by SCE Cambridge.

A fan a tv show should not have to own a console to 'deserve' the right to play one of it's (the show) games. I know the game is made by sony, still that post sounded very pompeux.

So then make 24: The board game, then you won't need ANY console to 'deserve' the right to play it.
