I have a 3070 video card which has a total of 8 pin power connections. Does an adapter exist that the power supply's PCI-E connector can connect to so there's a total of 8 pin connections that will fit into the video card?
You might have to get a power supply that at least supports 8 pin pcie. Even if you can get an adapter(after a quick google search they do seem to exist) that makes a 6 pin into 8 it will probably not feed enough power to the gpu specially under heavy gpu loads like gaming.

What PSU do you have that doesnt have 6+2 PCIE out?
Or does it only have 6 pin?
You could get a 6 to 8pin adapter cable.
Considering how rare it is to have a decent PSU that doesnt have 6+2 pin im inclined to assume it isnt a particularly good PSU.
So it might be a better bet to just buy another PSU.

I used this adapted in the past (came with GPU) and everything worked correctly with PSU that didn't have 8 pin. I also used this even recently with GPUs that had 2x 8 pin (my PSU has one 6 and one 8) and it was smooth sailing.
