I havent bought the expansion set yet, just new to the game, havent even played all the maps, since there's hardly no servers at all.

Does GAF play/like this game? I think its pretty awesome, but i never read anything about it on GAF.

True. Up until a few weeks ago I'd see Ned Flanders playing online almost daily. He'd be the only one though... heh.

Compared to the new campaign maps, the old ones are a cakewalk. Hell, I've been through the old maps by myself on more than one occasion. You need a team to get through the newer ones though.

I still play from time to time. Just got my 10,000th kill (plus achievement) yesterday actually.

Is this true? I wonder if I should buy the download pack if I want to get back into GRAW

Since I've never played with random people, I'm not totally sure.

It'd make sense that the hardcore players who continued to play would've dl'd the new stuff already. Since any change in the "normal" GRAW stuff by the host (maps, color/camo, weapons etc) would result in you not being able to join the server, you'd definitely have to do it if you want to play with them.

If you're just playing with friends or people just getting back into it, you wouldn't have to though. Chances are, they'd be willing to revert back to the normal setup to accommodate you.

I think its more along the lines of the ****ing terrible lobby system finally caught up and murdered any desire to play this game when Oblivion was standing there looking all innocent and just begging to be played.

The new maps really rekindled my love for this game. Its great when you find a bunch of enthusiasts who have reliable servers and are nice to play with etc.

I only like playing team based games though, no solo missions for me lol.
