If you haven't seen it already you should, as a Sega-boii, take a look at Uncle From Another World anime. It made me laugh harder than any anime I've seen.

40 is the new 30 so don't feel stressed out. Many find their consorts later in life, my colleague found his in his 40s.
 
On a serious note.

I turned 37 this year and went through abit of a midlife crisis; had an awful breakup this time last year and then this year had a super shit first 6 months.

I said fuck it and travelled as much as I could. Went Poland, turkey and Thailand 3 times lol. Had fun even by myself and met people and made friends .

Go Thailand bro. It's cheap and they love big American dick there.

I can't help with your Xbox problem though.

Great advice me and my long term gf broke up in feb and then lost my job, spent this year getting back on my feet, got a new job and getting myself sorted financially. Got 2 classic cars to restore and plan on travelling next year!

I did plan on asking my long term gf to marry me this year until we broke up in feb, then found out she was dating someone else 2 months later. Looking back I probably dodged a bullet on that one.

Looking back on it she did me a solid tbf. Spent the remainder of this year single. I think this is the longest I've been this way in over 20 years! Strange thing though my ex ex came out of the wood work and we've started chatting again, strange how these things work out (still not looking to date anyone atm though)

I was 42 last week, single, child-free, debt-free, a Sony fanboy when it comes to games & TVs, an even bigger Apple fanboy, and a total workaholic; my job is more fun than fun.

I ain't going to judge your other life choices, to each one its own.

All in all, if you're feeling happy with what you got you're winning, but if you don't try finding more happiness in doing the things you like, then you'll be winning.
