I posted this in the sticked thread, but I just found Ninja Gaiden Black brand new for 784 yen at Yamada Denki. Jade Empire was the same price; looks like they're starting to dump Xbox games to make room for the 360.

The same Yamada Denki was pretty crowded today, and they had girls there handing out flyers, balloons, taking pictures, etc. I thought maybe this could be related to the 360, but nope...it was for some deal with Epson.

give him a break... I messed with him because I know him.. but some people have been saying things to that tune.. which I know can't be true..

Yeah, I only asked because I saw some people say you had to have a router to get the 360 online for whatever reason.

i was confused when i went to my local wondergoo and geo stores and saw a huge ass crowd. Surely this couldnt be for the 360, i thought to myself. And lo, it wasnt. The displays were sitting quietly in both stores, one little kid playing PGR in a kiosk, as the hustle and bustle went around it. Turns out today is the unofficial start of the christmas shopping season here in japan. Lots of people buying karts and mushis and dobutsu no mori, but the sanrokumaru gently relaxes in a corner.

It has nothing to do with cash on hand, aside from the fact that Starbucks and MS can both afford the hit of a high cost, highly visible money bleeding strategy.

well DS will sell well for sure because of the holidays which are for new years mostly, not xmas.. but same diff I guess.. so 3rd place is most likely to happen.. but I wouldn't be TOO shocked if it some how reached 2nd.. and I wouldn't be TOO shocked if it fell to 4th.. There seemed to be some buzz about it when I went to the new Yodobashi in Yokohama today with DD.. they even sold out of things like the VGA cable and what not..

I've been shopping this evening, and it has actually shifted a few units through the day, by the looks of things. I certainly wouldn't call it a washout.

Still the Bic Camera in Shibuya has got the video coming out on SDTV. Is there some kind of sabotage going on? There is also this sign above the kiosk saying "PS3 coming out next spring with graphics that will make you come on the spot". No moneyhats here, I'm afraid.

Without any real flagship title like DOA4? Doubtful. I doubt RR6 will be enough to get people to buy Xbox 360.

Sometimes the Shibuya Tsutaya has some good deals. Got a couple a kirby dvds for around 200 each months ago. I also wonder how they stay in business.
