Note to Allard: this is your killer app. You can get an FPS anywhere, but you've always lacked something like this. If it's as good as I hope (*sigh*)...

Actually, after watching Blimblims gameplay videos from TGS I changed my mind completely on this game. Before that it was not even on my list, now it's my most anticipated 360 game.

I think this game will be great fun, a lot of action, a lot of exploring, it seems very diverse as well. And yes, it is really really pretty as well.

Let me explain it for your small brain.

Kameo and Mario are platformers.
PDO and Halo are FPS.
PGR3 and GT are racing games.

Now, you've made it obvious that you don't feel those titles are of the same quality (even though you've never played them), but as of now, nobody can say they're bad, and for a launch lineup that's pretty damn good.
 
kameo looks great, plays great, and seems to be a very large game.

almost all of GAF is sold on it. amazing. who would have thunk it?

definitely on my list :)

It could use some time (I mean, it still looks like an very enhanced port at some parts) but the game definitely went from decent platformer to OMGBBQ in one video. Day one purchase if I don't get it for free.

I am usually all about bitching about a game's shitty art style, but you guys must be seeing something different then me because those screens look amazing. And the art style in those screens kicks ass.

I am skeptical of Rare these days after them doing absolutely nothing last gen, but the screens and game are definitely pretty.
 
Kameo is the dark horse of the X360 launch.

I've said this a long time ago, when new consoles launch there is always a game out there which doesn't hold your attention initially. A game you didn't think would rock but ends up being superb. Over time you see the game starting to form into an awesome experience. I think Kameo is this game.

Could you imagine is Kameo ended up being a multi million seller which pushed the 360? Man the whole Xbox nation would be flipped upside down methinks! :lol

Mario is a lighthearted mushroom kingdom platformer. Kameo has orcs and faries and every other cliche you can think of.

PDO may be as good or better than Halo, but that still puts it far inferoir to PC FPSs.

PGR3 is a arcade racing game, GT is a sim(lite). This is not the same genre or even close.

So I can't say they look bad, or not comparable to the best games in the industry, but for you to say they are equal is all fine and dandy? :lol
 
That first shot looks like clay-mation :lol

It looks cool though. I'm 60% tempted to buy this game launch but I need further persuasion

I'm shocked so many people like this game...have you guys seen the videos? It is choppy, the art is all over the place. Nothing seems to blend in, it reminds me of shitty art school demo reels. BTW before im called a hater or troll, this is a Rare problem not a 360 issue.

The only thing I dislike about Kameo is the Elf Warrior character design. They are *really* ugly.
Still, this one is very high in my most wanted Xbox 360 title list.

Rare desperately needs to hire some better artists.
 
Now I know what these screens remind me of....That xbox game with the girl who had a hammer, i forget the name. It was one of the first xbox games announed.

Dorio, when was the last time you got your eyes checked? I plainly see the poly edges in the kameo screenshots. Woodie has more poly's in had than that entire kameo model. Not to mention the superior lighting in toy story....why am i even arguing this lol. Im bored at work i guess :P

From you've said before you're a working adult with a family, so I really don't see how you're not understanding what the "=" meant. And nobody even mentioned PC FPS so that just came out of totally left field.
