Perfect Dark was killed dead because it sucked, MP4 released and kinda sucked, and Halo just sucks.

What First Person franchise is anyone waiting for anymore?

PS: HL3 isn't real.

One tweet says "Omar was hinting at a game with a well-known protagonist, and Jeff Keighley posted about Lara Croft. #GamingScience 👀🔥"

Which is plain obvious that games will be announced at TGA and that some of them will have well-known protagonists. If you think this is a leak I have some leaks more for you: "TGA will have more trailers and game announcements with well known characters, and also with new characters. And there will be awards there."

The other tweet of the Lara Croft picture is reacting to these tweets about the Fortnite event where they announced the Tomb Raider reveal, saying "🚨Lara Croft returns at #TheGameAwards! Geoff Keighley hints at her appearance at the ceremony… Could this mean a new Tomb Raider game will be revealed?":

Actually on the original YouTube stream when he first give hints about tomb raider it wasn't announced yet and later on the stream it was officially announced, if you understand Arabic you can watch it

Announcing games just for the sake of announcing years ahead? Well yeah I guess once again we'll have a few of those anyway.
After last year and the summer show I won't get my hopes high, but then maybe if there are any actual good surprises it'll land better

1)Fvii Revengence
2) Persona 6/4 remake
3) KoTor 2 remake with Kotor 1 release date
4) Tomb Raider
5) Whatever that statue is by a well known AAA studio.
6) Sony Santa Monica new ip
7) Half Life 3

... and Clair Obscur sweep.

Really?
It'll probably be Far Cry or something else that no-one is waiting for

The only first person games I'm waiting for (eternally) are Deus Ex and Thief.

Is it not fair to say everyone's expecting a new metro?
It is relatively popular and it's probably about time 4A officially announce the new game. The use of the word "everyone" though does make me question if Metro is a big enough IP to warrant this.
Judas has already been announced but perhaps a release date?
Could also be Bioshock. The hopium in me also wishes for a new tactical singleplayer Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon game but that is definitely not something everyone's waiting for...

I really don't expect Valve to announce a game at TGA but then again the show has been getting bigger and bigger every year so there isn't really a better space to market the Gabecube/Half-Life combo to console gamers if that is indeed the angle they're going for.
